Here's an idea for a buff for A grens.
Their current base RA/TS is 0.95
vet1: 0.935 RA (-6.5%)
vet2: 0.75 cd (-25%), 0.71 RA(-29%)
vet3: 1.4 acc(+40%), 1.25 grenade range(+25%)
6th man upgrade has 0.95 RA modifier (-5%)
What I want to do is shuffle their vet and base RA little bit
Base RA: 0.91 (same as grens)
vet1: 0.9 RA (-10%)
vet2: 1.25 acc(+25%), 0.75 cd(-25%)
vet3: 1.12 acc(+12%)(making +40% overall), 0.77 RA(-23%), 1.25 grenade range(+25%)
6th man upgrade does the same thing
The old RA values 5 man: 0.95*0.935*0.71 = 0.6306575
The new RA values 5 man: 0.91*0.9*0.77 = 0.6306300
this will give the ass gren a bit more immediate durability and keep their performance the same.
At vet 1 they will e quit a fair bit more tanky than before. At vet 2 they will be 30% less tankier but have +36% more dps.

They don't need a buff, they have sprint to make up for most of their weaknesses.
I'd like to see the 6 men upgrade being an earlier option though, they can get blindsided by Thompson Assault Sections and Flamethrower Assault Engineers early on before 6 men. T2 might be too soon, but Lago's tech suggestion could work.

Early lower RA would be a baaaad idea IMO. They already dominate mainline infantry early on if you use them properly (IE don't charge in from long distances). If you lower RA at Vet 0 they become a lot more oppressive vs. Tommies and Conscripts particularly.

Good think they have sprint to not lose models on approach and nade assault to instakill squad if you don't react on time/are ambushed.
Last I've checked, that other squad didn't had those.
But we can ignore facts and live in imaginationland if you insist.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

How about that: Yes, 50+ is a TON of DPS in the first minute.

Then give volks a REAL nerf - remove sandbags and put their 0.9 RA from vet 1 to vet 2. Rifles are overperforming against agrens the most.

assgren sacrifice good scaling for a early game punch, they can basically sprint to cons in green cover and win by a large margin, just dont get caught in 2vs1 fights.
and mg42 + assgrens bodyguards is very hard to deal with in the first minutes, since you basically cant flank it.
So a buff to them is a big no from my side, they have to scale worse in order to balance their early game punch
