UC does the job. Remember UKF has a OST like design, being in the allied side.
That means most of the LV bleed will come from the Vickers UC and the AEC. Otherwise it will be way too OP if such LV were coupled with high defensive units.

The UC is good but its window is so small that it becomes obsolete very quickly and trying to micro a UC, AEC and or engie squad together is a huge drain. Give UC capping ability when it isnt upgraded so you dont waste capping power early game and you can get it out faster to expand the window of the units presence.

Although the intention are good I doubt they will help with problem of the unit that currently is timing/faust/AP rounds.

Suggestions:

A) tech requirement removed
(comes earlier)

B) upgrade cost to 30-40
(less of an initial investment)

C) Weapon DPS lowered to pio flamer
(less power level)

D) DOT removed
(power level decreased)

E) Ability added to fire a single burst at range 35 a molotov level DOT a second one detonates 3-4 second later for around 40 MU
(Now becomes a anti garrison tool but with MU cost, in addition the second explosion damage units in multi-floor buildings but in DOT manner)

F) immunity to faust critical engine damage get stunned/weapon disable instead
( faust is enough to deter it but not a death sentence)

G) automatic repair ability remove
(see faust changes)

Now the unit can provide an early flamer pio that will help UKF early vs garrison.

What the faction would like ideally is a mid game light armor similar to the T70 or luch. Valentine is that unit except it is doctrine and locked behind cp. This is a can of worms that should not be opened at all however.

If only they had some sort of T0 tracked vehicle that had a gun on it. Maybe like an LMG or something.

pretty sure bren carrier with mg has a higher damage output, then m20 or even 222/Stuart vs inf
