Cons arent OP, soviets are.
Soviets arent OP, the map favours sniper AF.
There is no way how to hide or flank sniper on this map. Try using sniper on a different map like La Gleize, Arnhem, Kholodny or Faymonville.

Soviets arent OP, the map favours sniper AF.
There is no way how to hide or flank sniper on this map. Try using sniper on a different map like Faymonville.

For me crossroads have more hedges in the middle and 2 house to hide.
For snipers:
like minks, crossing in the woods, halbe, road to kharov and YOUR Faymonville

In faymonville you can hide behind many hedges and garrisons. There is a sight blocker almost everywhere. Also map is more divided into section to ambushing sniper that chosen to switch a side is generally easier.
I do not argue that soviets 8f soviets are OP. I argue because saying soviets are op because of sniper favoured map is a bad argument IMO.

I seem to remember Thoedosious beating Luvnest's OST when he was using two snipers vs USF on this map.
Sniper can work on this map indeed, but i think its more the case that La Gleize (a map i always veto) and Kholodny are very bad for snipers, rather than this one very good.
I left an unqualified lazy statement as the opening post coz it was late and i was tired. But, to expand: my worry is that by making cons more effective in combat, you make countering the sniper much, much harder. At the moment you can dodge Penal satchels with a P2 or 222 to chase down a sniper. With Cons, being both combat effective and having Oorah AND AT nades makes countering snipers only possible if your opponent makes a grave mistake.

But, grens are comparatively weak in the face of USF infantry, which is the only Allied faction that doesn't have a sniper. Imagine how impossibly overpowered the gren/sniper combo would be if grens could effectively 1v1 Rifles?
