the way maxims work will be so different now. Wonder if this will allow you to pin german mg then other units can get closer or walk right through mg42 firing arc or de-buffs will be to strong for that definitly going to be interesting.

Russian buildings are built or T2 and T1 in the 2nd longer time than the Germans!
this is because the Germans with T1 bought all infantry units! Soviet infantry only definitely т1 т2

its nice that after the beta and the game's release we have 1 new map.

hand a man to fish and he eats for one day.
teach a man to fish and he eats for life.

Relic should work on the MapMaker rather than just giving us individual maps.

While your saying is correct, i doubt that the same guys are building maps and working on the worldbuilder tools. So those are individual processes, which run in parallel.

Interestingly, "skaya" is a suffix and means the word is in the genitive case in Russian, so it means "of" basically. So the name means "Of Langres." Normally you wouldn't see a word alone like this in Russian because it shows possession, that something belongs to something or someone or is a part of something else. An example is Pechorskaya Guba, or Gulf of Pechor.

But in this case it totally makes sense. It literally means "of Langres," so it shows that the map is not a complete clone but comes from the original! Maybe Relic is more clever than I thought.

This concludes your lesson in linguistics for the day. :)

Yeah, especially that ability where you click on a unit and it dies. And no, that's totally not OP.

Permanently Banned
Anyone have any initial opinion on the changes to Strafe and the Opel Blitz? I am interested in veteran player analysis/guesses. I have no clear sense as to whether they're enough/good changes. Sounds like Strafe does less damage, but lasts longer?

These are balanced changes. Actually, the Opel change is exactly how I would have done it. Figure that 2 caches (1 fuel 1 munitions) gives you what the OPEL does now. Opel is 300 manpower those 2 caches 400 manpower, so you get a 25% discount + instant call in with no build time + you can move it for slightly less durability.

In part fixing the Opel problem indirectly fixes the strafe problem by reducing the amount of munitions coming in from the buggy "edge" issue.

The strafe fixes will have to be a "wait and see how it works in game" before any judgment can be made, but the changes do look good. While the overall damage was reduced somewhat, it seems the developers wanted to encourage building the counter Quad halftrack (by making it more effective vs strafe now) more so then a flat out nerf strafe.

Overall this was a great patch update, and I think ALL the changes were needed. The HTD nerf was stronger then I was expecting, and from the way it was changed it seems it will mostly be a situational ability now (as green cover and buildings are now superior).
