If I had a nickel for every time some guy says "wait till the patch comes out" The only way I see this thing coming to life again. Is allowing the modding community do their thing ....like they did in COH1 ie - Blitzkrieg-Mod. Haven't had an evening playing COH2 in months. For some reason I still cling to hope.... In: Lobby

Thread: Soviet Snipers Squad are not fun31 Aug 2014, 05:11 AM For the most part I know the community doesn't really care what us more than 2vs2 players think or feel about particular unit and for the most part I do accept that. But even in a 3vs3 - sniper spam just makes the game totally unenjoyable. Perhaps it is just my shit playing but the unit just feels way too hard to kill(?)when spamed. The guy I faced/should take care of on my side of the map - made 5 sniper squads in total. Three pretty early on and then 2 more. One of his allies made 2 squads for a total of 7 sniper squads in the game. I hope I don't run into this too often or relic comes up with some kind of fix. Maybe it is just me and they are perfectly fine the way they are? In: COH2 Balance

Thread: War Spoils explained by Relic27 Jun 2014, 22:30 PM I can't speak for everyone... But I miss the days when you bought a game, you would get everything to play with in the game. Play it for a year or so and then buy the eventual expansion that came out----get everything to play with and continue on. With the current War Spoils system. I can't understand why they would want to turn it into a grind game to get things with no other option. I think it would have been much better if they let the players do one of two things. 1.) If you don't want to buy the unlock ...then please feel free to grind it out. 2.) If you don't want to grind it out....then please feel free to buy it. For myself it is strange - I can't stand the thought of having to grind it out. But I would at the same time be ticked if you could only buy said unlocks. But if I had a choice grind it or could buy it....I suddenly become a very happy player. Why does Relic keep ticking its limited player base off with these decisions? In: Lobby
