COH2 release date set for June 25th, 2013

I'm more excited for CoH 2 now than I have been in a while. The release date getting pushed back suggests that Sega care about the game and wants to give it more time in the oven for polishing and balancing. I hope we get a nice long beta to iron out issues and I hope most of the stupid microtransaction stuff gets weeded out of the gameplay now that THQ doesn't need to sell us Panthers for $5 to keep from going double-bankrupt.

Just think that the game will have been released 1 year and a half after its reveal. At least they didn't beat Blizzard to that yet.

OH YEAH! THQ must of been trying to rush it out to get cash for a "March" release.

I had hoped it would be delayed longer to get more of the replay features + observational mode but I will wait until beta to see how it goes.

Despite my better judgement I pre-ordered the Steam CE to support THQ / Relic when stuff was looking so-so. I honestly thought at one point my money was gone...

So (a) well done SEGA for extending the release, it looks like the same consistency and care they displayed with Creative Assembly applies to Relic

(b) There'll be a beta!!

(c) Yay!

(d) What will be the most loathed, OP unit?

Great news, I'm hoping the time necessary is enough to add a thing or two (neat replay features, get the cut off system right) and polish the game.

Eagerly waiting for beta now.
