If U play the right map, you have an observer mode(made by the mapper) XD
In Workshops are lots of maps with observer

That's not good enough. Seriously.

I am BeltFedWombat and I approve of this message. I love watching shoutcasts and streams and this mode would be like magic ketchup on a unicorn burger.

It is a joke when we still need to use a replay to broadcast the game.
Relic, now is year 2014, not 1994. We know you can do this immediately !

Great post Ami.

I actually feel a little embarrassed when my friends ask "why do they time sync at the beginning of the casts" and I have to tell them COH2 has no obs mode and they're casting a replay.

Great post! Observer mode is needed ... I've tried to get a few people to get the game and one of the first things they asked me is does it have an observer mode?

This has been said so many times its not even worth repeating at this point. Relic is obviously just going to stick with their original deadlines or we would already be using it.

Relic plz comment this post. It truely deserves an reply. it really isn´t a unreasonable demand. And im really annoyed we have to beg for it that long.
But i don`t want a mean spirit in this productive thread. Someone from relic should tell us, when it will be done!

Can't agree more. Very nice post! If Relic doesn't implement Observer mode now in one of the following patches I don't know anymore.. How many more reasons do they need?
I know much older games like Total Annihilation that have Observer mode.. I still dont understand why they dont get it for CoH2.

Nice post!

Why not post it on the forums on Companyofheroes.com?

Hey Guys,

Thanks Ami - Great stuff.

We're with you. Honestly.

With the work we've done behind the scenes (with our server team), we can really tackle these kinds of initiatives. This work probably would have been much harder when we launched COH2 and we probably wouldn't have built a great feature; now it's within our grasp to create something far better and meaningful.

Thanks again!

Quinn

Signed! COH2 has all the potential to be a serious esports title, such a great community and awesome casters, give them what they need, before it's too late and the game will grow rapidly.

its pretty silly it isnt in the game, i dont care how much work it takes for relic to put it in. This (and ladder rank emblems) will do more for the game long term than any new commander will ever do.

Coh2 has amazing potential to become an esport, its mad fun to watch people play because how good the game plays and its so easy to understand whats going on compared to sc2, dota or even counter strike.

Just to be clear: The most important part of an esport is not if the game has infinite strategic depth (like some guy here always claims). The MOST important aspect if a game becomes a esport is how fun is the game to watch? And i would say coh2 is very fun to watch because you can never know what will happen due to RNG.
