Are you not psyched? not really. just bought the game for 19 euro and even that is too much for now tbh.. adding a global chat is good now add a normal ladder in game too!!
playing this game doesnt feel smooth at all things go very slowly and clicking stuff like nades and stuff feels very buggy also shooting feels buggy like the mods in vcoh.

also that bullshit setups should be removed and all those bullshit extra pay 2 win stuff!!
seriously take more of an example to vcoh this is crap and pretty boring compared to vcoh.
graphics looks great true, however cuz of the graphics and details it makes the game very unclear too see. its should be a strategy game about strategy not about eyecandy and a shitty game..needs more simplicity.

games were u can pay for extra items or skins and stuff are all free2play games...not like this.

what is this one big pay 2 win milking cow??!!

You mean like Battlefield? Oh wait....

Games which want to provide ongoing support need ongoing income. You can't provide support over years without getting any money for it. It's business in the end, not charity.

However, i also think that some elements, like strong commanders, should not be exclusive to paying members. I'd rather like it, if the DLC content was exclusive to Theatre of War, skins, etc.

well i understand it needs to generate money but this is too much it seems all like one big mess..take a look at leuque of legends u can pay for stuff too but it doesnt make the game messy like this. i never had so many messages on steam about getting stuff its very annoying.

LESS IS MORE ID SAY!!

Partissssssaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnssssssssss!

I'm really looking forward to this patch, I feel a new meta coming on with some of these drastically different commanders.

On a side note does anyone know the difference between Partisans and Irregulars?

I think the irregulars are some Kind of a random Partisans.

But finally the T-34-85 has been buffed and should now be stronger then the panzer 4.(i think?)

But the ISU-152 has not been adressed he is still too expensive.

With building nerf/flamer pio buffs (less chance to get a crit and explode, better vs. buildings)and the veterancy changes (vet ii Flamenwurfer won't be a medium tank), no one in their right mind will do anything but spam LMG grens. The only really reliable counter that doesn't involve your opponent not paying attention to Molotovs are shock troops, and Ostheer will all skip T2 and get an Ostwind. GG Soviets.

Unless of course we can all go Partisan AT? What commander is this anyway?

The T-34/85 buff is welcome, but I don't think the nerf to its scatter was needed. : )

Still no fuel cost decrease for the ISU-152. A moderate one, like 30 to 40 fuel less would have made this weapon more purchasable.

The German weakness in manpower is addressed with 'elite troops' if troop veterency is a global upgrade.

The Soviet Achilles heel...their weakness in late game heavy tanks... is addressed with 'Soviet Industry' w/ the MP to Fuel conversion, repair, and KV-2.

In many respects I see this doctrine as making the Soviets more like the traditional German one. The KV-2 is likely to be the Soviet response to the Tiger tank.

T3485/85 gets a buff fine but it is still a retarded dual tank call in, penal are still overpriced trash and the t1/t2 change wasn't implemented so shitty con spam is still the Soviet Meta.

I think the KV-2 is more a brummbar with a turret.

psyched? are you serious? what a joke all this paid content will not fund the future of the game!
When more and more people refuse to buy items that will be nerfed to something that is not what they paid for to start with.

That is a cash grab, at least with other games dlc, the content doesn't change after you buy it. That is called testing and quality control something relic does not know how to do.

Now in this patch there is 4 free bs commanders and 4 paid commanders, 2 that no one currently as of posting knows the abilities yet.

The vet system is heavily German infantry favored with larger armor and accuracy bonus then Russian by 10% .

yeah I am so psyched to not support buying any more paid content until relic actually tests things before selling them.

note to those who missed it now your paid commander for FHQ and mother russia bonus damage and defense effects is halved this patch, I am sure that is what you paid for just the same as assault grens and ostroopen got nerfed after they got your money.

I expect more of the same thing will happen again as relic has no clear sight in goal for the future of the game, that gets me very psyched to make sure i do not support relic and sega in this cash grab!

You can't tell me they can't run a game with proper support, without dlc money.
When they can't do it with money from all the over priced CE edition sells and over priced paid commanders they sold already. If that is the case then this game will never see a third of the life span vcoh had.

The KV-2 is supposed to have the same gun as the ISU-152, so if it has the same gun/stats than it would a strong anti-armor weapon with the AI power of the ISU-152.

The ISU-152 has 150 penetration and 240 damage.

I presume that the KV-2's armor/hp is the same as the KV-1's.

I think, based on the patch notes and elsewhere that it has tank range (40) instead of heavy TD/AG range (100)

As I wrote in another thread, I perceive the patch positively for most part BUT there are some disapointments when compared to the leaked notes/general expectations (assuming the official notes are complete and correct):

  • Build-time of soviet tier 1/tier 2 building not reduced.

"Hope you still enjoy the conscript spam that we`ve been stuck with for eternity. No? Well do we have an offer for you! You can buy the brand new partisan commander for just 3.99 EUR! What? Tier 1/2 units being a valid early game option for soviets? Now don`be ridiculous."

  • Blitz (german vehicels` vet 1 ability) still available with damaged/destroyed engine.

Well this is just a bug that makes no sense and gives unfair advantage.

  • Soviet strafe not nerfed.

That feeling when you loose a game because of one ability where a friggin plane murders multiple squads and/or light vehicles of yours. Really makes you want to type that GG WP as you feel your opponent truly deserves the win.

Its not the same gun.The KV-2 gun is a short barreled gun(like brummbar) and ISU-152 gun is longer barreled.

better to remove all that bs paid content just make that game more simple and make it feel less like playing an vcoh mod. let us pay for serveracces instead of this pay 2 win crap. and calling dlc for an ww2 game "URBAN" is just inapropiate like wtf urban??...

Even better ill say let us pay for serveracces vcoh and keep that game alive because that 2006 game is way better..

also the more variaty of commanders and extra stuff the more inbalance you create and more harder to make it balance.

You have a point there. It may be just a Brummbar with a turret and a barrage ability. (which is a pretty good thing by itself).

Oh well, SU-85/KV-2 combo......

As far as effectiveness in game goes, the kv-2 acts similar to a close range, turreted isu-152. Meaning it does significant damage to armor, but don't expect to take on a tiger. It has a very long reload time.

So if I get this right, vehicles will no longer get massive received damage bonuses turning half-tracks into invincible monsters?

If so, then it is a good day. Also funny how similar this all is to the leaked patch notes.
