And what about the Comet? Better than the panther -free grenades lobbed out the cabin at vet3? All the Brit tanks crush better than axis tanks, which is an offensive tool.
AEC is close second to the T70 then. Axis light vehicles don't come close to the utility of it. Point is is that Brits have strongest defense and in many areas the strongest offensive force too. Seems a bit imbalanced.
Better at what? Killing infantry? Yes. Destroying tanks? No.
AEC close to T70? :|
Yea, becasue Puma and Luchs are so weak light vehicles... |
I agree that AEC isn't the best light tank after the patch. T70 is.
However Cromwell IS the best tank in the game because it's the most cost efficient. When determining the best unit type in the game, cost is always a key factor. What do you think best medium tank is?
REs are the best engineer types imo. No that great used offensively unless they can flankbajd get close without being targeted and find some green cover.
It's simple.
T34/85 or E8.
King Tiger is the best heavy tank in game but it may not have best cost efficient ratio, yet still the best. You look at armor, gun, speed etc and then you say if it is best medium or not. Cost has nothing to do with it. I mean, you could say that Osttruppens are the best infantry in game becasue they are most cost efficient. |
Im not into making another SU faction but some new commanders for OST and SU with some late-war new units would be great...
Just sayin' Relic.... $ $ $ $ $ $ $ |
That's nice. But then why do the UKF also have the best light vehicle in the game, the best medium tanks in the game and the most deadly and versatile offensive special forces in the game? Not to mention most close combat engineers. All these things are distinctly offensive characteristics.
In my opinion, Brits should indeed be focussed on defense, as they were supposedly designed. At the moment they are too much a master of all trades.
What the hell?
AEC is best light vehicle in game? Lel.
Cromwell is not best medium tank. It's most cost efficient.
What's wrong with engis? How they are offensive unit with they don't have any ability to close the distance? |
Dodging rifles nades with Maxim is not that big issue, especially with sprint.
But 50cal cries in the corner...
3 modles insta killed and no matter what you gonna do, the last one will also die. |
Actually soviets don't have any problems agasint Luchs.
ZiS, T70, Guards, AT Partisants, AT Nades... |
OKW has a lot of smoke. Ost doesnt have non-doc vehicle smoke, but once they get it they get it on every single vehicle. Sovs doesnt have vehicle smoke but they make up for it in other unit stats so its a non-issue.
You mean like superior armor, superior guns, superior blitz ability or secure mode? |
Well, you forget that most allied tanks out range their counterparts, also, the su85 is self spotting
Also, they have self healing. Doc and non doc (whatever army you choose)
Vehicle decrew, shit like that
And which tanks excatly outrange axis counterparts?
Becasue Stug, Elephant and Command Panther or vetted JPIV can't selfspot...
OKW has free repairs but smoke to survive > reparis. |
Emplacement are fine, but this counter battery is insane.
Free, no down-side, wiping units in the middle of my base, almost destroying trucks
Damn long way and preparations to deal with it. |
Good old times when RTS were on the top... Age of Empires, Empire Earth, Warlords Battlecry III, Battle for Middle earth, Cossacks 1... I love these, becasue you have things to do. Command your units and huge base building. Towers, walls, gates etc.. Modern RTSes focus mainly on units.
I miss those times but the truth is, people what game easier and easier.
Don't think, don't plan just run, shoot and click as fast as you can.
RTSes on the other hand force you to do these things and modern players raised on Call od Duty are not familiar with thinkng. |
