Rifle nades used against stolen mg42s barely do anything(only kill the front man) because the mg42 members are usually spread out well. If the Maxim had it's squad members spread out similarly to the mg42, or in a way that doesn't cause them to bunch up most of the time, then the rifle nade wouldn't be as big of a problem imo. I hadn't noticed this myself but if true, this seems like the best solution of all that have been suggested here so far... +1 In: COH2 Balance

Now it's just a question of trying to understand how someone could be so biased and fanboy-like on an issue that is clearly disbalanced... And the answer, not unexpectedly, is that you're a fanboy who has no Soviet gameplay experience. Thread: RIP Flame Halftrack4 Apr 2014, 14:21 PM It's very hard to say. The FHT's main issue is that it's not NEEDED and not worth the risk/investment compared to the hugely OP LMG/G43 Grenadiers. Why sink manpower and 2 LMGS' worth of ammo into a fragile unit when you can upgun your Grens and continue to rape Soviet infantry all the way through the game? If this infantry disbalance is addressed in the next patch, we might get a better picture (I suspect once that happens, the FHT will arrive a little too late to have the kind of impact it was having before the last patch but we'll have to see).
