You are forgetting that real people play the other faction and not AI. Usually when i use something i find annoying from the enemy (because i like to play all factions), it turns out its not as effective as i originally think. So stop pressing the thread creation button and reflect how this is a game people try to enjoy playing in some way. In: COH2 Balance

As much as I like not having to drive backwards with that thing, it's so jarring to see the Auto cannon go through the driver's head and firing. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing it brought back to it's regular firing arc and have it's armour inverted (Rear in front, Front in rear). ^^^ the front being the rear and vice versa when telling it to drive as well because of great pathing. Basically you can fire with 2 tommy sections for 45 muni each in rapid succession, then with Valentine or sniper, and you can fire off-map into fog of war. If you control 2 munition points + half map you can fire almost non-stop. I mean let be real if Relic makes the artillery stronger it would be OP as fuck. The only way it can be allowed to become stronger is if it will be forced to be on long enough cool-down. That was true in alpha when barrages were much cheaper and cooldown much shorter, but now everything is more expensive and has global long cooldowns, so you might as well pick a commander with offmaps instead of buying sextons or using base howitzers that are still absolute crap even if they did fire 24/7; they are just so bad... They dont hit, they fire not enough shells, and they have pathetic impact if they do actually hit something. If they made it stronger, perhaps there will be games itll actually be used... If you are stupid enough to over extend then you should get punished with a possible abandonment. If it's supported by infantry and AT then destroying/recapping would be easy. Thread: Universal Carrier is a bit shit21 Sep 2015, 04:14 AM Even with its current price i find simply buying it a bad choice because living a bit longer without it allows you to tech fast and bring in sniper, engies, and at guns. Making it more fuel expensive would be redundant because then you might as well tech. I almost always tech, unless i need something to clear buildings with. In: COH2 Balance
