A lot of good comments already but I would love setting up formations
ie - if I select 3 tanks, I can set a triangle, wedge, line etc
ie - infantry same thing - echelon, line, file, wedge

Tbh the biggest problem with infantry engagements is that the sometimes you have one squad with more than half way health and you lose a model and other times you have a squad with 1/4 of the health and still have all models... This makes things a bit frustrating when trying to play a bit more competitively because you cant predict then your oponent is going to drop a model. But at the same time I like how each model has its own health pool, its a bit more realistic. :/
I dont know if it would be better to make, in the grens case, each 1/4 of the health bar correspond to a model or make some UI improvement to show each entity health.
I agree. If Johnny is alive but he's shot, his fighting capabilities should be reduced. If Johnny and Danny and Billy and Shlep are all injured but alive, chances are they're not fighting effectively. Accuracy and DPS should be factored by unit health almost as much as model counts. |

It seems like panther is just too good for a tank hunter. High speed, super duper armor, ability to pop smoke and get away, lmg upgrade and crush used to run over infantry. Its too good. Its both and AT and AI weapon. Kinda of a superman tank. I think the bitch is overperforming.

Tbh i think all arti should be given a fuel cost. Like coh1.
But at the same time the gun needs a HP increase so it doesnt die in 1 stukka/il2 bomb strike (since the fuel cost would be unsustainable).
tell you what ill make a list of changes...
- LeFe - Needs less scatter
- ML20 - Needs vet reworking (extra 2 shots brings it up to 12 per salvo, meaning it fires the same amount as the LeFe but has ALOT more damage). So remove that and have them at 10 shots per salvo.
- Price changes to both + B4 to 400mp + 90 fuel
- 60% Gun HP increase
- Cannot fire at Base sectors
- Give OKW a commander with the LeFe (or replace the bunkers with it in the defencive doctrine). Still 90 fuel.
I like it. Give more HP and a longer build time. Give it a gun damage crit, and long repair as well. |
- Map sorting. I've wanted this since release, even back when there were barely any maps. Now it's a nightmare to navigate them, especially if you have tons of Steam workshop maps. There is no way to sort by game size, official vs. community, season, or anything. A search bar would also be nice. The modding hub has been a great edition, so I'd love to see this be the next step.
Map selection as a nightmare is an understatement. This would be so simple with even a few click boxes.

Actually, I believe the actual M5 Quad it's not ok, something must be done with it without cutting its latest gained efficiency. I would delay the supression feature or make the upgrade more expensive. First solution though.
I would also look to double (or more) the reload time. It is 4 guns after all, it shouldn't take a few seconds. |

Advantages so statistically marginal it may as well be a rounding error. PiV misses the first shot, you win. PiV gets a rear armour hit first, they win. etc. etc. In the grander context Shermans can be replaced, and aren't as big a loss as often as your only PiV will be; again due to the numbers already cited in the thread. There's a lot more implied equity at stake with the PiV, way too much to be psyched about going into a coinflip of a tank duel.
Factor in the tank crew repair for the US and it's far less riskier for the US. Repair time is about the same for 1 tank, halved when there are 2 tanks. Tanks can get back into the action fast - that's where a key difference lies. |
