Balance feels okay.
I would however change volks as I think they are slightly over performing.
Tone down UKF mortars and bofors so that they are easier to destroy.
Change Wehr sniper ad give it slightly less hp.
Rest seems fine.

Is it your only argument? "Competitve players" (I usualy call them nerds) won't agree with you, so I won't agree either, so you are wrong? Do you have something else to say, cos I really don't care about opinion of "competitive players". If they playing more than I do, maybe better than I do, it doesn't mean, that they know that game better then me. It only means, that they are ready to exaust themselvs to get result as "loosy" faction, ignoring that fact, that playing as Axis is veeery relaxing.
You don't know the game better than people who are actually good at it and if you seriously think soviets are weak then you don't know how to play the faction which in tern means you don't know what you are talking about.
You are either an arm chair critic or you play the game so badly 'OMG SOVIETS SO BAD' when in fact they are not.
You are the kind of person that likes the sounds of his own voice but does not in fact have a clue what they are talking about. |
Wide variety? Yea, build loosy T1 or build more or less good T2, then spam maxim to survive... Not so much options for USSR to play and win, actually.
Two type of grenades? Ha-ha, two types of worst grenades in game, which we should also pay for, and pay a lot! Molotov is worse than any nade in game - slow throwing, no impact damage (OKW's flame nade for expample has impact damage)... And AT-nade is way worse (look at stats), than free Fausts.
Two types of mines? One type of sweeper dealing with them really good.
Multiple types of armour? Yea, worst midle tank in game T-34-76, AT tanks with melted tower, T-70, which is worse than some Axis light cars... Yea, a lot of options in vechicles. And of course - all good tanks only by doctrines.
And how is having of "MGs, mortars and AT guns" is benefit? Ostheers have same MGs, mortars and AT guns too, and they are better than soviet analogs, again. All those units are SUPPORT weapons, not core units. And with core USSR has serious troubles.
And it's easiest way to end any discussion by only 3 words - learn2play. Veeery reasonable, bro.
Okay Miss let me put it this way.
You are completely wrong with everything that you have said about the soviet faction which make me think you are either analysing them on paper against other factions and have come to this conclusion or you don't play at a competitive level.
If you ask anyone who plays this game to a decent level they will completely disagree with you and come to the conclusion that you are just playing the faction incorrectly.
Soviets have been consistently strong for a very long time and that is a fact.....unless you are for example between the rank of 1000-2000 and don't really have a grip on the game and understand how it actually works.
Just so I have not got this completely incorrect it would be interesting to know what level you play at in terms of rank? |
This post is fail and it's more of l2p issue if anything. Soviets are not weak and have not been weak for sometime.
You have access to a wide variety of options as soviets and have the best combined arms in the game to deal with axis.
You have access to two types of grenades, two types of mines and multiple types of armour and to back this up you have mgs, mortars and at guns.
Sorry but if you think they are weak you need to assess how you are playing.

The community is so fucking childish.
You have a hissy fit over a patch, claim yore done, and never actually leave but choose to shitpost.
Blaming Brad for everything is convenient as fuck too. Marks my words, you won't be seeing him anymore, if he has any self respect he won't bother posting in the forums or being on streams because of the constant stream of shit he gets from all you nerds.
But why doesn't relic interact wah wah wah, well there's your answer.

Your question is flawed. No game ever reaches perfect balance, and the community will always consider it unbalanced no matter how balanced it actually gets. It's actually been extremely good lately, especially considering the amount of diversity in the game.

Early map control. Pak + faust combo until you get t3 seems to work well. |
I'm pretty sure official WW2 British Army commando units didn't use gliders. It was glider infantry used them (separate from the better-trained paratroopers). British commando or paratrooper units frequently worked with and linked up with glider infantry units, but I'm pretty sure the former were spared using the gliders themselves (pretty much everyone thought the things were gliding coffins).
I have read about and also seen a documentary about the commandos' using gliders on D-Day. Not the most common form of transport but it did happen. They used gliders on D-Day the same as the US airborne.
They were tasked with taking key objectives, one story in particular which I remember was taking bridges, this particular unit was lucky as they landed with 100 yards of the objective. Lucky to say the least but they took control of the bridge within 10 mins catching the Germans completely by surprise during the night. |
They should just make the Commandos paradrop in like Airborne do. The Glider only limits Commandos, and British Commandos didn't even use Gliders anyway.
They did on D-Day. They used gliders to secure a number of bridges and other targets. |
