So does Sherman, only the poor t34/76 doesn't insta-wipe like that, and even with bad RNG they might too. Pray to the RNG gods.
Yeah, it sums it pretty right, p4 is and always was a wiping machine but sherman and 85s are even better. |
Some of you dont experience it because of a simple fact: it never happens to squads in cover, there is no map in this game that would force cons to engage in neutral cover so only ppl who 'forget' to use cover experience this. It also makes a problem much less of an issue.
Btw standing in red or neutral cover should be punished much more than it is now, no matter what faction you play. Right now its sometimes not worth it to jump into yellow cover couse it has not enough benefits over neutral one... And it is and should be core coh mechanic, right? |
It is no proof that theese changes will come at all. It simply proves that they didnt want to change old version of the game, instead they took a alpha one and rolled some changes back - living text unchanged. The same applies to most changenotes. Also they explicite said that they want to make some changes and see how it goes so they are not sure if they want to have all the changes in live version. |
Well i havnt had one since early March... So yeah......
back to User Error.
The game is playable in a few different operating systems and in many different hardware configurations. The fact that it works for you doesn't mean that everybody needs to buy exactly same parts for their computer, install same OS, use similar settings and so on to play. Obvoiusly in some of supported configurations game bugs out and that is exactly what buglplat is for - to send them these configurations so they can fix it. The game doesn't bug out a lot for me, especially after last patch that fixed end game crashes but it still may be a problem and it is not neceserrily user fault. Saying that game is stable because its stable in a single configuration for a single user is highly naive... |
Bugsplat isn't what crashes your game lol, that's their feedback link to an issue that caused YOUR PC to crash the game. Any normally mentally competent person will understand that includes millions of possible scenario's and conditions on your personal computer that caused it to crash, meaning they will never fix ALL of them, but they will fix the most common issues...
I have a bugsplat issue maybe once every 2 months...
In this case im tempted to say... user error.
Stop being an idiot, sort your PC out before calling the product faulty.
It's like saying: 'damn commuters, without them public transport system would work like a charm'. If its bugsplat not bluescreen or sth like that it's usually an error in game code. It may occur only in specific enviroment but it's still relics job to solve this not users in most cases. Tha game is very complex and it has more bugs than average one - that is why ppl call it buggy. Ofc there are special cases of ppl who whine instead of veryfying game files first or solving their own driver problem but one cannot blame user for a crash, maybe unless he is refusing to send any crash reports... Then he probably doesn't want any help and is happy with his problem. |
Are people afraid that if they use the Ost Panther it will give them herpes or something?
I use it quite often especially when playing CAS (yes when using fuel > ammo convert). Its a decent tank even with the teching costs. They are much easier to keep alive than allied tanks, just requires some micro instead of some yolo blitz play.
Yeah I even used it with a success in 1v1 recently while using CAS. It killed kv8 and is-2 with the help of shrecked pgrens and made it out alive. If I invested in double p4 one of them would die so the outcome would be worse. On the other hand then I didn't have stug option. They may kind of make panther feel worse this patch. |
Jager only having Kar98
Pathfinder can get BAR.
Waiting for .30 pathfinder commander Kappa |
It's cost effective in 2v2 and above.
From what I know alex never plays 1v1s. That makes his statements even stranger. |
Wow a whole 6 DPS at point blank range, with a max range of 35 that sure is great on a tank that you never want to use close to infantry.
Well it does what its ment for. It also shoots down planes pretty well. And you're not going to tell me that you never buy mgs for those vehicles as 'they will never be close to infantry'. Its bullshit. Both stug-g and panther are powerful and hugely cost effective vehicles. Much more cost effective than their callin or okw counterparts once you tech. |
I don't get how 50 range is not enough, especially as stug and panther are only vehicles on your list that have pintle MG. |
