I think this is the biggest problem with the swap. Having to re-balance to much. But it would also mean that the T34/85 would come out later than the T34/76. So in some sense the fuelcost itself takes care of this. And you would probably see more T-70s which would delay it even further. In: COH2 Gameplay

The T34/85 would be available in the soviet T3 for around 400 mp and 140 fuel. And the T34/76 would be available in Advanced warfare tactics and Guard motor tactics. Would such switch benefit coh2? What do you think? My initial thoughts are that the soviet T3 would get some logic, making the T70 a fast tank to rush out and the T34/85 the safer bet but coming out some minutes later. And it would certainly make soviet more viable in the tank-department. The T34/76 could also come to good use in the commanders, but maybe the cps would have to be 6 or 7? Pushing out two T34/76 at 6 cp would be strong for the moment, but it would also mean no T34/85s. In fact this swap also would be more in line with history as more T34/85 was built -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-34 It would also in some sense deal with the call-in-meta. Discuss! An item is not highly priced based on demand alone, it is factored by supply. Chicken eggs, for example, are in high demand. Most kitchens stock them. But that doesnt mean price is high. No. Why? Because so is supply. There are games like EUIV, Civ and some other grand strategies that have internal trade commodities. But overtly fixing cost to "balance" would be insane. Imagine what would happen to Gren cost, if it was factored by how many are built thoughout the community? Suddenly youd have to pay 600 MP for Grens. Really, wtf? Y economy isnt my strongest side Havent even read Marx. And youre right that the marketeconomy-model wouldnt work. Such model needs some planned economy Relic has to make up a meta and then if that meta is broken the price of a unit would go up or down. Example: the meta is 3-5 grens for ost, if that meta isnt achieved then the price would fall or go up. In: COH2 Balance

We no longer see the same old three recon+stuka/IL2 commanders every single game, so hitting them in enemy bases isn't a foregone conclusion any more. I honestly think that both of them are in a reasonable spot right now. Giving substantially more shells/damage to either would make them too powerful at direct base bashing, and that's the last thing we want to go back to. Base-nuking has been boring and stale as all hell since DoW and has got no better since. Such a honest post. I honestly think soviet call-in-commanders and the Tiger-commanders would still rule the game even if they buffed howis. In: COH2 Balance
