Neat! Hope it comes. If you really wanna retain more players though like vCoH did, bring back lobbies as a priority and as a lesser priority the chat rooms of old, this time with some moderators to filter out bible thumpers and racists. This is a sure way to rejuvenate the social aspect of CoH2 and thus have more players playing.
The majority of players who participated in multi were either compstompers or preferred choke point maps and a lobby to moderate the "skill level" of each team. This funneling of the entire player base into automatch needs to stop, custom games by friend invite alone is not enough. This brings up the paradox of how can one make new friends if you can only play with the limited number of friends you currently have?
Idk if battle servers allow easier implementation of this, but hey just saying. |
Hey are you playing COH1 or 2 I am looking for anzac buddies for COH2 pls add me
Nice necro. You were only 10 days off from making it a full year though!
I think there are a few aussies active.. not many though. I only know of two others besides myself. StephennJF being one of them

people really need to stop using this lame argument. is anyone really going to buy every skin and faceplate? if you really want to, go ahead, but thats entirely on you. the majority of you dont even have any interest in ToW, so again, why include that in your number other than to make the price of the DLC sound bigger for your argument?
most of the premium commanders arent even that good. i see most players have 4-5 favorite commanders per faction which they use over and over. atleast a few of those are typically free ones as well. so for two factions youll spend maybe $20 to get all the commanders you want. even then, thats a choice and you dont need premium commanders to win games.
dont bring up elite troops and industry. we all know theyre going to be nerfed
Good luck trying to explain this to a consumer who has no idea about CoH2 at all. All he/she is going to see is $100's worth of DLC and laugh and continue browsing the steam store. Everyone here who has logic know elite and industry were pretty much the only broken commanders. The damage has been done, its hard to salvage CoH/Relic's reputation at this point. The marketing/dlc whoring was predominantly Sega's fault but to the average consumer all they see is the game and probably developer after that if they aren't too narrow minded. |

"youtube #1 PC gaming critic"
I laughed so hard, never heard of it.
I laughed so hard at how ignorant you are. @1.5 Mil subs you are a fool to laugh, he has more pull in this industry than you know.
Back to the original point, at this point even if TB were to let his grudge aside or Sega apologised to him and fixed their "wrongdoings" to his channel then it would be worse right now as he would undoutdedly have to talk about the DLC and allegations of "p2w". |
I was about to point that same thing out, until i saw your post. One thing some people should either note, or check for themselves on steam, is that if you do type in, "Pay 2 Win," CoH2 does come up first and is one of maybe 3 other games that are not Free to Play. But, at the very bottom of the page is listed Civ IV: Warlords, is that Free to Play? No, so take this tag with a grain of salt.
What is your point? This isn't about anything being free to play lol FailFish |
So this is no Photoshop?
Nope, you can do one of two things.
Go to store page, "For You" Tab > Browse all Recommended tags > Pay 2 win
Or simply search Pay 2 Win in the store search

Discuss. Official Relic response would be useful.

MVGame
Thats ok, I wasn't the one who discovered it, just a friend of mine who plays coh2 but doesn't browse this forums. This is pretty embarassing tbh. Ahh relic
Can't say I can recommend this game to anyone with a straight answer. Two friends of mine asked me on seperate occasions in the last week, I always had to start my answer with "Welllllll... you see the thing is.." |
oh, didn't expect that haha. nice one, will give a watch |
No, not really.
Every single math and probability gives Tiger an easy win over IS-2.
If IS-2 wins, THAT is pure RNG luck. If Tiger wins, its just confirmation to the rule and tiger wins vast majority of time.
You've had one lucky game, that doesn't make it "all random".
Thanks for repeating my point, RNG luck = random lol.
That being said, a foolish soviet player is one who doesn't immediately try to disengage from a head on battle with a tiger.
edit: k made a highlight since i have nothing better to do. http://www.twitch.tv/plsnonotthere/c/3717495
On rewatching is-2 actually did get the first shot in and managed to back away, so essentially got a free shot in. still, tiger could have easily got a few crits himself and won. so like i said, random luck |
Rome 2. Was a bigger blowout then coh2. Terrible game
Crap launch but from what I've heard they did a better job than relic at patching the game and fixing all the major issues with it.
I haven't bought it yet but probably will soon. |
