I would consider this commander OP - I mean take a look at which commander the top players are using ... Cant all be a coincidence most are using this commander.

I mean seriously - all the skills are strong and very useful.

Starting with the first one ... You can see what your opponent is building ahead of time? ... let along conscripts that can take on all other infantry ...

a great tank call in and then a nice infantry scatter gun.

what german doctrine is going to stand toe to toe with this? - the elite one is close but Id find the soviet one superior all perhaps except for the tiger ace ...

IMO they should first raise the cost to 50 or 60 and see how the balance is then. If still too strong then do something else.

Makes sense as far as cost - german players need to decide what to upgrade when it comes to g43 etc ... they cant throw nades all over and still upgrade.

I remember watching a record recently and I think 1/12 shots the E did missed the infantry target and did low to no damage.

Problem with this guy is that by the time it can come out - it is outclassed and is not useful - it might be viable if there was just infantry on the field.

Even if you could dodge the AT gun range - the first decent tank will kill it quickly.

CP 3 may be too early CP 4? even then it wont last long as an option ...

Seems like everyone likes their particular faction and are complaining about how they are going to still do their strats given the changes (nerfs to commanders/units).

I'm not really sure the intention of relic to make all these CP changes; perhaps its to not let the individual commanders give such game changing abilities but just give you an additional option? Thats my only guess as to why all the CP changes - so basically you are more prone to produce 'regular' units and use the commander units as supplements.

Like the soviet defense tactics doctrine - was it that strong? ... did the top guys use this one and abuse it? ... I dont know and not from the replays that I saw ... but again see above.

From a balance perspective I do see some potential issues coming up with conscripts and the new ppsh. I cant help think that people will gravitate toward this new doctrine - given how strong the ppsh upgrade was already; and I do agree that this upgrade being 30 muni while osteer's 60 is a bit strange.

I do like some of the things with the new patch: even thou I play the germans most I like the changes to the tiger ace. Was really lame watching replays and see that one ability decide the game (especially in a tournament).

I havnt watched this game yet ... but I will say that your earlier game today ie the 18th vs S1mon (panthers); was an excellent match and should be put up here (if you have the save).

Soviet new commander a bit OP but maybe calmed down a little in the new patch ...
