Yes it is but if Ostheer are struggling even with an OP tiger imagine what will happen when the Tiger crutch is nerfed...
Why imagine anything?
Everyone knows history of UKF.
Also, ost is struggling against IS-2 too and that's too being nerfed.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

No, the whole factions are balanced like that. Unless for some mad reason you think armies are not balanced against units they are fighting against. Yes there is Source: Trust me bro. Another derail attempt with issue completely irrelevant to storm troopers. "I do not have a way to respond to this argument, therefore it must be a derail attempt or personal attack, probably both". That's because commandos go against armies with weapons designed to kill 5 and 6 model squads and storms go against armies with weapons designed to kill mostly 4 man squads and have a singular examples of 5 and 6? There is no issue here. Same role unit. So are conscripts and osttruppen. Or grens and tommies. Or shermans and P4s. Or HMG42 and maxims. Or obers and LMG paras. Or M15 and 251 flak. Or kubel and M3. Or Tiger and IS-2. Or B4 and LEFH. Yet they still perform vastly different and have their own unique advantages and disadvantages. In: COH2 Balance |

Its a CQC ambush unit with camo. It choses when you engage, not opponent, therefore DPS dropoff is irrelevant, its L2P problem if they don't engage at their optimum distance. Commandos thou not only have 5 entities they also get smoke grenade on retreat for extra durability.... Different armies, different units. In: COH2 Balance |

Manual targetting is as effective as units scatter. If you nerf manual targeting, you're nerfing autofire equally as well. There is no power spike with manual targetting, manual targetting simply assures the squad is centered in the scatter box while autofire can put it at the edges of the squad due to targetting models on the sides. Is 2 shooting full health squads regardless of squad size and spacing balanced? If not, then it wouldn't get nerfed. Units are balanced around their peak performance, not around rank 1000 4v4. Bringing autofire's effectiveness up to manual targeting's effectiveness wouldn't make the unit more powerful, it'd make it easier to use. And that's specifically why brummbars firepower and scatter is in current place. Pros easily can abuse manual targeting to score certain wipes. Hell, people do it on regular basis with things as clumsy as RIFLE NADES, what do you think would happen if they were allowed to do it with 35 range, 160dmg fast projectile with MASSIVE AOE? It is meant to fight tanks as well and it rivals IS-2. Brummbar is exclusive in its leaguem, you don't sacrifice anything getting it and despite its own deflection damage, it clearly isn't meant to fight tanks, it can damage them, but it certainly isn't meant to fight them. In: COH2 Balance |

Suggestion to change the Brummbar. Increase fuel to 170 and increase shell speed to something that resembles the speed closer to KV2's speed. So......

It is, that's why I've presented it as opinion, not a fact. It is simply impossible for you to avoid going personal eh? Oh please, you don't even understand what that phrase means anymore, you're using it every single time anyone disagrees with you as a counter argument to everything. The number of player bring up an issue is rather irrelevant. For instance I brought the balance problem with changes to the HMG-34 which was listed as "bug fix" and had to deal with heavy opposition Sure, bugs are bugs and require fixing, regardless if they give advantage or disadvantage post fix. If unit doesn't scale well, it gets buffed, that's the life story of conscripts up until now. But what's the reasonable balance argument about changing HGB? We've seen plenty of opinions, but nothing that would actually be supported by in-game situation or use. Papercraft theoretical scenarios are not the same thing as what happens in real game. You want to fix something that doesn't require fix and can't make any other argument then "I don't like it in its current form" based on theorycrafted scenario that never occurs. In: Lobby |
