Since this had kind of morphed into a thread about how range is calculated does anyone have visual representation of what 5-30 range actually looks like in game?
Build an AT gun. Each dot on its range indicator is 2 range.
So? Most of the maps in automatch are not automatch worthy.
True that.
Whoever decided it is a good idea to use Semoisky or Road to Kharkov as 2v2 maps and then introduce 2 armies with forward bases and retreat points should be shot by NKVD, taken over by gestapo, interrogated and shot again.
I like it. You need to play with T2 and possibly get T4 later on for SU-85, but the tank itself is pretty ok, reasonably priced and quite durable. More firepower then T34/76 now as well.
If it only had vet bonuses that actually mattered(you know, like any axis tank) it would be perfect.
Unfortunately this is just another nail in the coffin for the 3v3 and 4v4 game modes. It is a clear showing of disrespect to the community whom enjoy these game modes when super units and abilities are introduced into the game without proper due diligence. Relic should have the foresight to see the impact this ability would have in larger game modes. Shame.
Now that you mentioned it, I instantly imagined 3-4 players using the doctrine, all using stuka dive to decap cut offs and someone using the arty=instawin
If you'd give Axis infantry the capabilites of Riflmen everything would be fine.
Would it be fine as well if your only opening different then volks/gren spam would be doctrinal?
Also, remember that with Kubel you simply push opponents infantry off the field quickly and are pretty safe until T2, which means you limit his cap capabilities much more then you do yours.
