DoW2 did this in some respects with commanders bring abilities to the field which supported or were supported by assets, very few call ins. Terminators? Banewolf?(correct name for the IG toxic 'flamer' thing?) Autarch? Seer Council? Rippers? Commanders should bring both advantages and disadvantages to your select approach. An example would be an armoured commander which improve armour ability but put your infantry at a disadvantage. Players would have to play to their advantage and try limit their disadvantage. And that is the problem with coh2 commander design. Some were stuffed with AWESOME and become bloated because of it, most bring disadvantages or gimmicks that can and will backfire if you aren't top player already. In: COH2 Balance

I suppose this is why you have Kubels/HMG42 in the same building as volks/grens. If you enjoy spamming one type of unit, play allies. Also, vcoh volks cost was 10 more then rifles. In: COH2 Gameplay

Once they stand face to face with enemy they are eating them alive. And yet, every single infantry in game got the ability to fight them cost effectively either thanks due to weapon upgrades or grenades, because shocks have weakness-short effective range. Too bad the same can not be said about ubers and your face will start melting on a mere sight of them. I'll go with Ubersoldaten for this one. Epic long range? Cover ignoring upgrade? Does it force the usf player on the defensive? yes it does. Lets also ignore the fact that OKW have mines, pshrecks on default infantry, hard AT vehicles arriving at the same time as M20 and "at gun" at T0. You seem to love ignoring facts. And guess what? Kubel will also win against all garrisoned units except ever so useful USF HMG. In: COH2 Balance
