It also made maps 'indirectly smaller' as bringing troops back to the field takes much less time. And doctrine with forward retreat point eventually will come for wehr as well, which is sad. Its a doctrine with 2 kinds of reckon abilities and reckon, combat ineffective troops which at least have somewhat effective abilities. As a cherry on top, you get ultra menpower heavy call-in with unreliable weapons on a faction that is extremely menpower heavy and punishes you for using it by forcing you to spend additional 80-120mp on AT gun or donate it to enemy. I can't really think of a possible way to save the doctrine when M8 would be nerfed. Just like dodge truck IS a mechanized doctrine, the same way M8 is a reckon doctrine. Everything outside of that single ability is a bad quality filler. Basically, if not for M8, I would say that sierra together with lolcake designed the doctrine. In: COH2 Balance

You can't get enough infantry, because they have more popcap then anything else, you can't get more vehicles, because they are just as strong as others but seem to get more popcap then others, especially lights. And the best thing: You can't even think of combined arms, because support weapons and troops(pathfinders) will butcher your popcap for moderate at best effects. And all that is before officers and medics, which are mandatory and still cost popcap. USF is the only army that needs to give up popcap and fuel to heal troops. In: COH2 Balance

Agree, I mean, how silly and unrealistic it is for sturmtiger to one shot infantry squads. Not to mention its unfair. It should never one shoot infantry, armor or support weapons, each should always survive with 1 men for normal squads and 2 for support weapon, otherwise it'll keep being imbalanced unit forever. 380mm rocket? Huge ass explosion? Deafening sound? Who cares about that, it should not one shot kill anything, because its OP. In: COH2 Balance
