That is because heavies doesn't really have any disadvantage. They are plain upgrade over mediums, completely invalidating them the moment they show up. Bigger cost, lower speed and turret traverse, increased CP cost allowing stock mediums bigger opportunity window and possibility to get some stars and punish stalling for heavy, exploitable vulnerability to something that isn't 70 range dedicated TD- heavies need at least one of these to have actual negative result on the calling player instead of spraying him with benefits. Oh, you know, common sense and general performance way. T34 is worse against armor and infantry then P4. T70 is worse against infantry then Ostwind. M5 is worse against planes and infantry then ostwind. StuG is rather unique, but soviets would kill for something that can stun vehicles and penetrate them better then T34 while having superior range to other T3 armor in T3. In: COH2 Balance |

And? Does it need high speeds to set up on base sector? Thats not really an argument at all. If Ambulance can get to the point of Major deployment without any problems, why sws truck should be any different here? Unless you don't use it as a means to expand your base, but a combat unit for pushing infantry out of cover for free wins in early engagements, which it was not designed to do. You can also slow it down to ambulance speed and acceleration(which again, certain people believe to be fine for some reason) and put the upgrade for speed like brits had. Or you can admit its not fine and actually support an underperforming unit, which at the moment is nothing more then slugging med bunker. In: COH2 Balance |
