Good damage but low penetration makes T34 more AI (like they said they want in the interview) and more interesting to flank rear armor. But vs a front armor for AT, yes they are quite useless. They can ram only and do AT in pair with ziz.
So it doesn't help to counter panther for example. For panther the only solution as always is to break their mobility (mine, guards, AT nade, ram) but it's not at all easy for the moment. Mines are random, guards counter by smoke and not long enough to kill the panther, ram hard to land because high speed of panther, and AT nade has short range (but best choice because of low AI of panther). They need some nerf i think here. but i don't know what could be the better solution : reduce speed? armor? precision while moving? reduce AI like remove MG option? They should remain a good AT tank to flank to counter ISU/KV2/SU85 take out of position.
And one more point is what happens to T70 if T34 is more AI?? Even less than now interesting vs T34 ! Ouch !
For other tanks :
- Tiger a bit cheap and can be spam but their low range make them not so good.
- IS2 have a bit too much AI.
- KV2 and ISU are ok. Good but can be counter.
- Elefant also. Perhaps a bit to much rear armor. Several T34 even in his back can't kill him easy.....
- P4/SU76/SU85 are ok for me
- KV1 only goal is to take shoots with something else to do dammage....
- KV8 is gamebreaker now. But for the moment it is also the only solution to counter grenader spam... Reduce is dps a bit for me is the only thing it needs.
- Ostwind/brumbar : Good AI and only one can be very painfull for sov if the ost don't overcommit with him.
- katyusha and panzerwerfer are ok. katyusha is less effective no? i find him not enough precise. It could help or do nothing so in this case this waste cost the game..

5 men with the G-43? This is a great imbalanced. If grenadiers with two G-43 raped every living thing, then that will make five G-43? Why six SVT - 40 so disgusting?

3CP - Manpower blitz (bonus MP instant against MP income decrease)
6CP - Hold the line (bonus def and off but can't move)
8CP - Scorched earth policy (bombing in owned territory)
I don't see how you can play without retreat ! Each pinned unit are dead for example ! +50MP does not really compensate this ! |
When a player has very low computer capacity, the start of the game is delay and during this period you should not buy troups or choose a commander ot these things can happen.
I know it become it always happen to me with my teammate in 2vs2. I wait my pio or ing move to start playing.
One time, i had no commander and 2 conscripts locked....

I mean, it's logical that something more expensive is better... Loosing a german tank is more punnishing than loosing a soviet tank, I think it's obvious.
Damned ! We've get conned ! It means IS2 should be better than tiger, conscript the same as grenader, and so on... Damned !!

I try yesterday sov industry in 2vs2 on an open map (minsk). Not so bad.
T1 (penal/M3) / T3 (T34/M5)/ KV8 / KV2 for me and T1/T2/T4/IS2 for my teammate. It work quite well.
Of course this strat need an open area map like minsk or moscow. Spam grenader would have counter it but it counters MG42 and ost camping. Your are quite good in late game (IS2/KV2/KV8) and your good mobility in early game allow some good moves.
And it's funny to play ^^ |
+1. I agree with the issue that Gren should not been able to hard counter maxim just by go in front of them and shoot a rifle nade. It is the same issue as before when you can run conscript in front of MG42 to launch a molotov without loose the squad (it is not anymore possible so for me molotov do not need nerf).
The suppressed units not be able to fire rifle nade could be a good solution. You can still do the same thing but with micro : for example with two grenaders or with one grenader that reach a green cover before suppression. |
