Thread: Company of Heroes 3 with WhiteFlash3 Jul 2018, 10:14 AM In all seriousness, probably the biggest thing that ate away my passion for the game was how they designed the DLC factions in the beginning. In general, how things went was they really tried to balance the existing factions and units, but when a new DLC commander or faction came out it was almost always some batshit OP thing. Because of this I lost enjoyment for the game and trust in how Relic handles things. Tiger Ace and elite troops in general? Commandos at release? Pershing? Königskubel with insane suppression... the list goes on forever. In: News

Likewise the unfinished OKW revamp, warspoils revamp and implied promise that balance issues would be addressed after ESL are all in doubt now. ... Yeah, but half of the 1 hour stream was recapping ESL results (why do they do this in the first place, to avoid discussing more difficult and important subjects or facing tough questions they can't answer?) and the rest was talking about some skins. It's cool that Relic finally interacts with the community better, but using half or even more of the stream time (which is already pretty tiny amount, 1 hour every week or two) to go through the ESL results - which we all already know shouldn't be such a huge priority. They should be more open about their plans for the future of this game. But it's been like this since day 1 so can't really expect much to change. In: Lobby

Currently looking at CPU: Intel Skylake i5 6500 4-Core 3.2GHz I'd go for the 6600K, it's not even expensive and it has a higher clock speed + OCing capability if you need more performance in the future. Currently a higher tier CPU isn't worth it for gaming since no games utilize their properties atm. RAM: 16GB DDR4 Quad Channel Red Series Not sure if games need 16 gigs of RAM but it's pretty cheap anyways. Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB Second Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 970 4GB Would a GTX 980 Ti be better than 2x 970? Don't know, it's pretty close I guess. Or you might wait for the next tier NVIDIA cards to come out a bit later this year. CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X I have the 212 EVO and it's a really good cooler for it's cost, my 3570k runs at 4,4 GHz / 1,15V at 75-79 °C during intel burn test. All in all looks good!
