1 commander (Elephant with hull down, I already had that one) in ~45 hours... I know we should not mention anything else, but except for 2 bulletins, 2 skins and 1 finishing move I only received duplicates (none of which one would like to stack in case of bulletins). The drops are as balanced and well thought as everything new relic puts up |
[...]Duel T-34/85 are actually not much more dangerous than T-34/76: most of my AT is infantry based, and 85's suck at killing infantry in the general sense. [...]
Whaaaaat? |
Have you actually used its vet1 ability yet? No infantry will ever surprise you with it.
OMG, how could I overlook that ability?! It's great and really makes it useful throughout the game, thanks for that hint!
I'm pretty much building 2 all the time as my default opening BO
I also like to start with a Kübelwagen, but isn't two a little suicidal for mid to lategame? |
Imo blizzards favor soviets, as their infantry is best at close range.
As a side note, some odd behaviour from blizzards: a unit that is freezing and hit by a molotov is freezing to death and burning to death at the same time (iirc). |
You get that at level 3 if I am not mistaken.
Ah ok I need to check that again. It's one of the units where I have not yet taken the time to read all the vet descriptions. ^^

Not yet, but looks like I should give it a try. |
If that wasnt good enough.. i tried using the riflemen AT rifle grenade. I had a riflemen next to a puma, armed with nothing but vet 1, so the puma cared less about it shooting at it. Unfortunately, you have no control who shoots the rifle grenade or whether or not the volunteer runs like a maniac to a new position to shoot. Anyways, one guy was aiming, and he shot. His shot flew and blew up on a pole between the squad and the puma. A POLE. I slammed my head on the keyboard, because fausts, grenadier rifle grenades, and conscript AT grenades normally clip through things like these. These things arent worth the munitions. They are super unreliable and always fail.
Well, none of them should hit poles (unless they create a polish commander for sov ) and stuff, but a rifle squad with faust-like AT nade + bazooka might be too good. |
A range and/or sight range increase at a certain level of vet could maybe be enough, so it can stay further from the frontline (in case of only increased sight range it would serve as a great spotter like a vetted AC). |
I think it's still viable in 2v2 team games, as its cost efficiency is the same as a cache. But yeah above 2v2 it only makes sense to build it after all own (and secure) sectors are stuffed with caches. |
Am i the only one who liked that the commanders and Intel bulletins didn't show up on load screen?
they still need to fix American tank priority....
and does no one have a problem with the walking stuka?
You need to know what you are about to face, especially against the two old factions, as they have so many commanders. |
They build for around 100-120 sec.
Not really reliable early game force, but a good means of replacing squad losses.
If you mean the cooldown, yeah, not that spammable. But still you can pump out 2 rifles in quick succession with one even having vet, which has quite an impact on early game IMO. |
