Your motto should just be, "Aimstrong."
That is all.
Aim... strong?!
Gettit, because you have a strong aim? |
Having not heard many casts before from Fatal, after tonight I must say he rarely ever misses a trick. Even small decisions made by the player that would otherwise be misinterpreted by other casters, he picks up on, combined with good strategic knowledge about the game and generally being a good person to cast alongside. Not to mention all the backbone work he does for TFN and tonight's event. A great guy for the CoH community! |

Excellent TFN tournament from Will, spent a lot of time and his own resources into the competitive scene, extremely competitive player but doesn't play in all the tournaments so that he can bring you a great consistant shoutcast and put on great events. Plus the fact that he is British and a great guy irl!
Thank you for keeping the faith in CoH and putting on the first great coh2 event in great fashion. |

Rogers is the ultimate nice guy! |
Nice pictures, thought those shots were pretty damn accurate in the first pic, then I saw the zombie one! haha, were you shooting the tommy gun at the zombie? |
I wouldn't disagree with seeing a buff to the AC's dps vs infantry with it's normal gun (not upgrade) so you can at least run down snipers properly with it. But I would really not like to see it turn into the unit that it used to be in vcoh because it was way too good vs infantry, I like it's specialized role now. |

I'm up for a tournament but I'd like to have a different set up than the traditional ones where we used to play potentially like 6-8 hours of CoH in a day and half of that can sometimes be simply waiting around. Maybe have less rounds or spread them out over the course of more days. Or have a predetermined top 8 in the final 16 and have the qualifiers over a number of days. |
If you are not taking part in tournaments then ladders are often an accurate way to determine your skill level. Not only that but it drives personal motivation with promise of progression. Having a flawed ladder system is not an excuse to remove it but improve it.
As far as I'm concerned, there's no debate about whether CoH2 should or should not have a ladder and Quinn just said it's coming back in the future anyway. The real warning signal for me is why aren't things like this and other competitive aspects of the game 100% ready by launch and why is the current vCoH online system so poor. |
