Please don’t
If you think it will be too strong we will just make the prices the same as well. |
Lets make them carbon copies of JLIs to 'nerf' them. |
I do wish we had better scalability for many of the mid tier vehicles, but I'm not sure the tech tree is big enough to make it work. |
The STG44s on Storms is the only change that really peaks my interest.
Instead of adding On Me to LTs, I'd probably just rework both officers as a single type of unit. The differences are not big enough to justify entirely different units imo and their more unique traits could be put together in a single unit. |
Just getting rid of the retreat ability on Snipers would be enough.
They can continue to kite forever, but any screwup leaves them unable to escape. |
ram and T-34-76s are useless without offmaps though
You can buff it as needed. |
Could make Ram ability doctrinal to stop it from being used with offmaps. |
Snare is going to cost something one way or another. Its vet, upgrade, or tech locked for just about everyone. Trading early game availability for late game reliability a fair trade.
More serious is all of the nerfs USF is receiving to its anti infantry capabilities. Outside of the deserved nerf to the WC51, the 50 Cal, Pack Howie, and Scott are all getting monster nerfs. I legit don't see how USF is expected to kill elite infantry or break entrenched positions if these go through. |
Not a lot to be excited about as USF.
USF got screwed in team games. This patch hits all their Arty and the Jackson, which are their only real selling points.
1v1 they won't be super different. The Pack Howie looks a little dubious now with its massive scatter no longer being offset by its excellent damage. The 50 cal changes likewise hurt, not sure why USF can't keep at least some of its faster setup time to compliment its mobility theme. The Rifle changes probably won't affect much, I can't imagine firing off enough snares or grenades for it to be relevant that early.
Isn't the smoke on the USF mortar bugged? The delay before firing is insane.
WC51 is actually getting off comically easy, and still has an officers worth of abilities. Maybe the short range means it will never live to use them, but its still pure upside for a unit that costs as much as a Kubel while being far stronger.
Not sure where the idea of BAR drop rates being a problem came from. |
First, I don't understand why sections are getting off this lightly. Even out of cover, they are superior to all other mainlines. Some of their cover bonus needs to be moved into their Vet 1.
As others have suggested, Bolster should have replaced the medical upgrade. With Base healing finally being practical for UKF, keeping it on sections is silly. As others have suggested, this should be replaced with the bolster upgrade and it should take a weapon slot.
Second, why are they so squeamish about adding a mobile arty option for UKF? There's no reason the Land Mattress can't be reworked and moved into the faction. Nerf its barrage size, range, add suppression and reduce its reinforce cost, and you have a mini Panzerwerfer that could pin positions while infantry advance on them.
Third, they really need to look at Brit pop capts. Their 100/100 army is tiny, and reducing the Churchill's pop by 1 isn't really gonna cut it. By bringing sections in line (along with the other suggested nerfs) they can actually take a look at the pop cap and maybe open up enough room for a maxed out Brit army to field another unit. |
