edit: what im trying to say is you have to use the shock value of the mediums to maximum effect. in a drawn out engagement they are at a serious disadvantage because players will be have already seen them and have at positions set up. however the first strike is the most important and often the most devastating, because there will not be as much AT to counter it.
A T34/76 doesn't have any shock value at all. Schreks, T0 racketenwerfers, paks and 100% success Fausts can deal with it easily.
PzIV is another thing as allies (specially soviets) doesn't have proper AT infantry to face it. |
This is exactly the reason why I gave up. For months whenever complaints were voiced the reply was "We will improve and we are excited about the future", yet not much improvement was visible from my end. It might have improved internally, it might have not, I can't say for I do not know. From what's publicly visible I can't see an improvement.
Yes, there were more patches in the recent time, BUT these were also more direly needed than ever. With most patches breaking the game in a part and then the hotfixes trying to fix it, of course breaking it in another spot.

From my point of view they basically fail and fail and fail again, while at the same time saying they improve. You get your hopes up the first few times, but after a while you just start to turn cynical and sour. Since I recently noticed I thought more and more in a negative / cynical view about it, I just didn't want to bother with it anymore. I wish Braden / Matt / Peter / Noun / Jason / Greg the best for the future, but I just can't believe in Relic improving anymore.

Jadgtiger should have the same "Concrete Piercing Round" ability than ISU-152, at the same price.

Let me be clear about one thing, heavies are not good as they are in their current state. At least that is my opinion.
And I'm not only talking about heavies itself, but also about how they are being called in, their impact on the game, ...

Heavies are the thing that keep me away from the game, even more than the current balance.
Nothing is more boring than having a good game until a JT appears and ALL your armor becomes useless and you can quit because your picked commander doesn't have anything to do against it. |
The only ridiculos thing with this is That it can shoot through walls and shot blockers, other than That it's fine. Still boring with all the super heavies in-game

Give Jadgtiger ability to shoot through obstacles BUT AS AN ABILITY WHICH COST AMMO.
One shot and back to normal.
ISU-152 has the same ability, so it should be easy to implement it. |
All heavy tanks should decrease resource income.
The more overpowered the tanks is, higher resource income penalty. |
It's absolutely awful against infantry- especially compared to the Tiger, the King Tiger, and the ISU...
