Elite riflemen: Vet 1 rifles are overrated in actual infantry combat, their ability is not that much better outside of the homing AT nade.
I noted that they are 20 MP and 3 pop cap more expensive now.
I find the strength of this ability its spammability rather than veterancy. The rifles can constantly be spammed to provide reinforcements and maintain field presence.
6 man weapon team: don't change: Maybe increase a bit in cost.
Long range: Nope, no complaints here. |

In terms of effectiveness, you know? The only advantage I can see here is really in the late game. The P4s can be spammed,the maphack (which is great although doesn't last long) can be used, and the OKW can transition from sturmpios/volksgrens to Obers plus volks shreck carriers.
The OKW has better non doc. assault infantry compared to Ost.
In the early/mid game however, the OKW plays with a disadvantage vs the other doctrines. |
This is weird commander just like fortifications. It feels questionable.
It's a risk to get the P4 J's out. Why not play Ost T3 then?

From 160 to 208 damage.
It gives 30% penetration and 30% damage.

The problem with getting T2, T4 is the fact that before 9 CPs, there are already T-34s getting fielded. If T4 is also made, then the P4 Js would have to be delayed after 9 CPs hit.
Maybe you're right though. I need to see more if T2 (no vehicles), T4 (no vehicles), then P4Js is practical. The buff cut the fuel price down to 180. |

Exploding flamethrowers kill 1-3 models IIRC. Penals explode too.
The thing with flamers is they are pretty useful against OKW ubermenschen wielding automatics in a way the bar isn't. (FJ, obers, sturms) |
I actually like it, as it makes the rifles into a penal squad of sorts. Sometimes I want that. I'm a big fan of flamers on large squads.
If there's a lot of indirect fire, it is less worth it IMO. |
