You said you renamed it, and got a new error with the new map name, please provide the exact error. Also, in your Code steamapps/common/companyofheroes2/coh2/data/scenarios is the *SGB file directly in the scenarios folder, or is it in sub folders, such as Code steamapps/common/companyofheroes2/coh2/data/scenarios/mp/(2-4) Uneventest01/ IF it is in a sub folder, make sure there are no () or space's in the folder name as well. The exact error its giving now will shed some light, if the naming is within protocol. In: Mapping Discussion
Thread: Issues exporting a saved map27 Nov 2013, 18:33 PM First, verify that, Archive.exe is in your steamapps/common/companyofheroes2 folder. If not, do a search in your steam folder, and you should find it in a download folder. Verify that you are looking at COH2 archive.exe, and not COH1. Put a copy of it in the steamapps folder referenced above. Second, verify that the name of the map file (*.sgb) does not have any special characters. Also, make sure the same is true for the folder you put it in. You can "save as" with a file name that contains only letters, numbers, and underscore "_". If that does not get you going, we will go from there. In: Mapping Discussion

Sometimes I can delete the problem spline, and create it from scratch, instead of copying it from another, and it helps. I believe the problem occurs with duplicating a single spline too many times. 2. I think, if you hold R (maybe a different key), it will give you circles around the object, click on the circle of the axis you want to rotate, and it should do so. 3. Not sure, I never bake. Thread: Tile painting editor22 Nov 2013, 13:22 PM Using multiple tile layers, can achieve a very nice look for terrain. Be aware that, the base layer will affect how others look, as they fade out. I would use a dirt base, and cover it with grass for example. The edges of the grass would have dirt underneath, giving a somewhat realistic look. Obviously, the textures begin to tile, and look repetitive, so selecting a couple of grass textures, and mixing them, helps break things up. Then texture splines, and splats is where the polish really comes into play. You can search for COH1 World Builder tutorials, dealing with all three, as the system is basically the same. The main differences being the location, and the exact textures...ect. In: Mapping Discussion
