off topic but what was the motivation behind turning B4 into an on field Railway arty????
No idea why they included the B-4, historically it was effectively a small railway gun.
Its currently a RNG super heavy AT gun, with the new patch making it a bad ML/20. If they increased firing angle, increased fire rate, and gave it proper homing it could convert to a Pak 43 or 17 lber equivalent.
It needs a unique identity. The 3 shots of iffy AoE 300 dmg does not do that.
Yes it is really hard to counter massed Allies TDs with anything other than a elefant/jagdtiger in 4x4, so most peopl(me included) keep it in the loadout.
Is Fortified Armor such crap that Jaeger Armor just superior? The ISU doctrines are pretty competitive with each other, Jaeger Armor just... isnt.
Holy jesus, you werent kidding. For everyone besides OST, the leading doctrines are 20-30% more played. Jaeger armor is played 100% more often than #2. Seems... problematic.
I'm not suprised by the other 4v4 picks, USF leans on Urban Assault and Infantry, so they appear to always have artillery. 4v4 is all about blob control, so that makes sense.
UKF leans on Ro. Artillery, but has pretty good diversity otherwise. Soviets lean on ISU doctrines and IS-2, but definitely not to the extent of Jaegar Armor (wow, that doctrine is picked a lot).
OKW has a healthy commander pick rate with significant variety, emphasising early game doctrinal infantry. Turns out pros think Volks dont cut it. OST might carry OKW through team games.
Yeah, they have a cover bonus (with veterancy) that affects only their Stens, not a cover penalty. I can see how that might confuse someone though, it is a really weird "ability".
That Vet 1 is.... weird. That is an insane cover bonus at Vet 1, I just assumed they had the same as IS due to the vet 1 cover symbol.
I'd just suggest remove out of cover penalty on Sappers. Though that might be unneccessary. With recent changes, massive IS spam is no longer the heart of UKF and I LIKE IT THAT WAY. Making Sappers more capable at rushing enemy mainlines means more sappers. Sappers have a great flow and justifying replacing some IS with Sappers REALLY helps the UKF game flow, especially with the Vickers changes.
