I seem to lose against USF nowadays. I start off ok, but fall behind mid game and late. I can't seem to handle the 7.5cm well and the eventually Sherman. Any thoughts?

Any advice for my OST replay against usf? I think I started well, but tail off. I don't know how to deal with 7.5cm. Bulletins? Commanders builds. Any advice is welcomed.

Poor Euan, just wanted information on the current meta and instead he got a pissing match. From what I've see in 1v1. Generally speaking the reworked commanders and stuff that got a buff are more common now.
OKW - Battlegroup is much more common - either Flak HT or a fast P4 seems to be the norm. I hardly see Luches rush anymore. Luff Ground Forces is much more common now but old mainstays like Scavenge and Spec Ops haven't gone anywhere.
USF - Mechanized and Recon are viable but other than that much hasn't changed- LT builds might be more common now that you don't have to worry about Luches every match. Armor has kind of fallen out of favor even though it's still pretty good. I feel like Infantry Company is newly popular.
Soviets - Conscript builds seem to be favored and Guards are pretty popular as well now that they aren't trash. Overall pretty flexible in what is a viable build now. Probably the hardest faction to predict a strategy from I'd say.
Ostheer - G43 grens seem to be most popular- lots of jaeger infantry because Jeager Command squad is love and life. Lightning War and Elite Troops are also frequently seen still. Overall strategies haven't changed much except you see more people teching T3 into T4 now if they can swing the fuel for Brumbar or Panther.
Brits - Commander picks haven't been shaken up much - still lots of Vanguard, SPecial Weapons, Mobile Assault (Commando is actually viable and used now though). Emplacements aren't really that great or used frequently from what I've seen. UC is a bit more popular. Hammer is still >> Anvil. Brits were mostly just made less cheesy. Their lack of snare and indirect fire options are still a headache when you play as them.
Hope that helps.

Great feedback. I think that is what I have been seeing as well. |

Personally wasn't so happy on the changes myself. There are a few things IMO that needs changing so i was dumbfounded on how big the patch was.
Secondly, relics 5 year plan was a joke, to me it should have been a 2-3 years, don't look at it as them supporting the game for 5 years, look at it as it takes them 5 years to finish the job because that's what it is really.
Hence why every time a new commander came out it was OP as fuck with little to no signs of previous balancing before release. The British expansion alone was IMO the most obvious sign that relics staff had no idea what to do and should have been fired.
My final thought is this is probably a good thing. If there is a coh3, maybe instead of rushing the game with a shitty engine, terrible coding, terrible optimization like coh2 is, we could get something more polished that doesn't take 3 months after release to become playable. Maybe they will hire people who have an ounce of an idea on what they are doing. And not have invincible forcfields, or password protected trenches.

RitaRush's work is brilliant like always, altho not really my type.
And the charity has a just cause.
But Relic and SEGA have made buffoons of us all and if you ask me, have also betrayed us.
I am sorry for the whales and all of the wild life but I'm not about to give those greedy companies anymore of my money, I think I've spent around 200 bucks or more on Company of Heroes 2, the first 100 were for the Collector's Edition alone, most of which was utter useless garbage in the form of bullshit commanders that were no match for the later 5 dollar "premium" commanders that were nerfed a month or so after Relic were done selling them because of the public outcry.
I was such a sap as to buy most of the "premium" commanders as well as all of their later Army DLCs. Looking at it now, I could have saved so much money if I had only waited for the premium commanders, OKW and UKF only instead of getting everything I own right now since I almost basically never play the other 3 Armies, the Soviets being my least favorite and played Army, while I do sometimes play with Ostheer and USF to occasionally try a new strategy I thought up.

I just had 2 games in a row where in each game, my teammate as Wehr or OKW ally loses 2 volks or a MG42 Volks to the Soviet clown car with flames, then crys for help and then blames you for not helping...
This is about 5 mins into the game and as a result, completely ruins the game. I am not saying clown car is OP, but more of the allies situation where, they quite frankly don't know how to play. I guess this forces me to either just quit or play 1vs1. Anyone else encounter this? What do you do in this situation? |
As the topic suggests, please would everyone boycott the skins until Relic releases the patch. I think it is a slap in the face to us fans when they said the patch is put on hold and then they release a skins patch which, by the way is 508mb so we then can buy this garbage? So the patch was put on hold for them to make more money with the skins? Why should we buy skins for units in a game where it is unbalance and barely playable? Why the hell should we support them when they don't support us? I would hope most of you would do the same to make a point not eat the BS Relic has been feeding to us. |
pathetic how with a push of a button you can pop alien technology force field and self repair. legit 0 micro. meanwhile the opponent is ripping their hair out trying to deal with it.. British was effectively the nail in relics coffin

I dont get why vote against dusseldorf and gelsenkirchen? Big maps with a lot of potential playstyles and flanks. Yes its a little bit too long so if the base spawns were a bit closer to the middle it would be fine. Dusseldorf is one of the finer maps available, it favors usf, okw, soviets but both ost and brits can adapt without a problem.
Now maps that really need to be removed are MOSCOW OUTSHITS, Pripyatshit, Minsk Dogshit, Semoisky (wintershit).

I assume Moscow is gone as it is not even an option to be voted against. |
