Congrats Stephenn!!
Here's your railway arty face!
Alltime greatest Stephen moment was definitely that time he successfully demoed that StuG/Puma combo on Sturz, it was on the trending page but im not sure if it still is. |

i wonder how long this will go before the admins delete it
The threads' gone the moment Barton posts. MVGame? |
Disappointing there was no mention about Ladder/Leaderboards, World/Map builder, more details about improvements in replay, the SLI/Crossfire issue, or just about the game's future in general. At best, seems like a lot of it is still in the brainstorm / planning stage.
If you read between the lines, then it's clear that Relic is short on manpower, funding, and time it seems to develop/improve this game further.
I hope I'm wrong.
Yeah well, he did mention the roadmap that Ami was talking about earlier so clearly the game has a bright future, and thats the most important thing ^^ |
lulz
great, now my kid is sitting next to me singing "butt sex butt sex butt sex"
Haha, now his delicate little mind is soiled for life |
Nice Mustang Budwise Quick question tho, why didn't you get a manual if you were planning some track days? |
Make cover important again, and lots of other nice things will follow afterwards. Positioning will become important again, the skill ceiling will be raised, games will become more interesting...etc.
To me, this is the crucial point, I partially agree with you on the UI layout (though I can live with it) though I don't agree about the commander doctrines. (after all how is decreased infantry building time more exciting than those mines you mentioned?)
For me there's so much going for this game, like the dynamic Infantry v armor battles we see now, that it pains me to see this lack of vCoh style maneuver in it as well. The latter combined with the new passive cap ability would rock so much. |
The OP's done a bit of glue sniffing on this one methinks..
The new capping system is one of the three things and best things in my opinion they got right. (along with the new viability of Infantry AT - the soviet AT nades being the exception that proves the rule - and the ability to flank over fences)
This system means it's much harder to defend and basically on it's own destroys the incentive to camp while at the same time making the opportunity cost of not always trying to attack extremely high, these two factors thus lead to more fluid, intelligent game where maneuver and decision making are king rather than whose has the most MG bunkers. |

Glad you like the organization. I am always trying to figure out the best way to work out playlists with what people want to see etc. Glad it helped man RnP will be back in Open Beta when we can actually CAST!!!! We have one sitting on my HD that we cant release till Open
Maybe I was derping a bit, but before the reorganization, I couldn't find the season 1 & 2 stuff and now I can.
Which pleases me greatly |

I don't give a shit about necroing this thread, because I just wanted to say a massive thanks to Rogers (or Pounder, or whoever was responsible) for reorganizing the RnP channel on Youtube.
It just makes everything so much easier, especially for people like me with shitty internet who have to use Youtube downloaders. Cheers Bro |
Courts here in Europe tells anyone bringing up EULAs to go fuck themselves. If the same consumer rights are present in the US, the same should go over there as well.
Except that the United States has a legal system based around the legally binding opinion of judges known as 'precedents' which means the Constitutionally enshrined 'right to privacy' somehow means women have the right to second trimester Abortions on demand, yet warrantless obtainment of private information by the FBI and eavesdropping on public pay phones are perfectly legal.
So whether or not Kinect operates in an illegal fashion entirely depends on the ruling of the judge on the day of trial. |
