Hey look Dave, I can copy and paste too!
@Dave, get over yourself and actually type in a post, or get lost and leave the community if you're still that butthurt. If you've devolved to the point where you can't even type a decent response, then you've reached a point where your limited time in life is better spent doing other things than hanging around a forum for a game you clearly hate. |
@sherlock, The 30% armor increase for P4 and Panther at vet 2 is actually substantially less than the vet 2 bonus that all German tanks got at vet 2. So, this is an overall nerf to vet 2's defensive buffs. And to be honest the P4 needs that vet 2 buff.

Those numbers are further divided by the number of building men on it. So Support Weapon Kampaneye is currently 200/4 = 50s. |

Again, you need to start or update your QA checklists. I know it's a mile long already, but that's twice now for this game, and similar bugs have popped up in prior Relic games. |
Vet 3 shouldn't be as hard to get anymore if you preserve well, with the changes to how vet is earned increasing vet for attacking vetted units, it means coming back after devastating losses is slightly more achievable.
Along with the balancing of vet boosts overall. |
Wow, that's even more extreme than the king tiger's manpower drain on call in.
BTW, it's not 2 tigers, it's a single tiger with the power of 2. So probably a big chunk more HP, more armor, higher RoF, more accuracy and range.
And you know what, even if it's a balance nightmare, I really like the crazy direction these are going in.
Let's hope they tested this one more. |
But remember, that 120mm mortar is now even more effective at blowing units out of buildings. ![;) ;)](/images/Smileys/wink.gif) |
Except that those changes were part of the beta server to test. Which means that Relic does think it's something worth investigating a fix for. Which means that it has a higher potential for changing than you describe.
It may not happen this patch, or even in the next few months of patches, but they recognize there is an issue.
As for the B4, it'll fire at double its previous rate. Which if you're firing into the enemy base, or at clusters of units, then it's almost a buff as well. So the only nerf it got was how reliable the damage output was without munitions expenditure. But now it's more usable for general bombardment, especially on some maps that have natural choke points to hit. |
Not sure what they were thinking if they didn't nerf Soviet Strafe (and make sure the German Close Air doesn't do the same).
Hopefully there's some overarching changes that effect it. I know one such change is that vetted AA units get much better at shooting down planes, but that's assuming they survive the attack long enough to shoot. |
