It would make too much sense. It would result on several axis tank dead because people overcommit with them and when they see their error they wouldn´t be able to fix it with 1/2 abilities (the other one being smoke). While Tigers don´t need Blitz, i´m more afraid if they had something like TWP TBH. I´m more concerned that we still have silly useless vet abilities rather than removing the useful ones. I´m still trying to figure it out a reliable way to use Radio intercept as Axis MY dream is to get 3x 4% increase RoF on MG42s. I'm convinced that Elefant/ISU/ andd Jagdtiger can be implemented in a way, that doesn't screw over the whole balance. It´s either going to be overnerf or overbuff. Even in the REMOTE case they would be balanced, forums will still cry it´s either OP or UP. ______________________ Even if you tweak it to have a slower RoF, it will be a unit complained about because it "wipes" squads, at a lower rate You can only nerf it to the point people consider it is not a viable unit. Thread: The Problem of Axis in Teamgames18 Aug 2014, 17:43 PM Jump back to quoted post18 Aug 2014, 17:05 PMwooof guards. pretty much the same long range dps once they get their DPs, but with much higher durability at vet 3. now that their armor has been replaced by recieved accuracy you can also merge them to keep your mp drain down. people just like to pretend that soviets have no long range infantry. a guard blob is way more annoying that something like a panzerfusilier blob because you cant even get near it with vehicles. Problem is that they are static piñatas waiting to drop their weapons. Juggling and baiting with nades makes them lose all their DPS in comparison to PF blobs who can just run around the map. If only we had a button to drop weapons. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Balance by game size15 Aug 2014, 21:27 PM Map and faction combinations are something that should be taken into account, specially for 2v2. 1v1 is balanced with their respectives armies, USF vs OKW and OH vs SU. When mixed, strange things happen. Same with 2v2 and specially taking into account certain maps and combinations. I would give my edge to Allies here. 3v3+ Axis. In: COH2 Balance

The real question is whether that advantage is a substantial one. But in ladder games? Assuming proper balance, the extra options don't really give a ladder player that great an advantage. There are a million factors that matter more in a ladder game. This. While i suggest we leave the horse rest a bit (the game is far way better now), i´m still surprised by the denial of some people. It´s not like we see the same Premium commanders being used because they are the most effective ones or they provide better options in comparison to vanilla commanders. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: RELIC LOOKING FOR MAP FEEDBACK!15 Aug 2014, 20:55 PM I think it would be a bit better if we can focus on a group of maps or have a list on which maps have "high" priority on fixing/improving. There are maps which are "fine" but theres always place for improvement (change some houses, trees, etc) and there are others which needs a heavy revamp. For example i´m sure everyone who plays the game have some opinions regarding Stalingrad. In 2v2, Trois Point (i want to try and like this map but it get as simple as barbwire the right island) or Hurtgen Forest (TOO much chokepoint, instaveto) In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Too much RNG15 Aug 2014, 20:54 PM I think of Coh2 at some points like playing poker. You take calculated risks. While luck (RNG) is a factor, you can mitigate it with skill. Regarding what you mention OP: -If there is anything i would change at the moment is removing the chance to cause a heavy engine damage with AT nades/Faust at a healthy tank. Only with an already engine damage, ram (from behind), and mines this should happen. -Flamer: increase explosion chances with explosives, remove it from small arm fire. In: COH2 Gameplay
