And fht rush? yeah if the soviet player really screwed up and didnt have any AT out. but i have a better suggestion. m3 rush to your cutoff point with no wait of countering it. Yeah, because on release each faction started with SO MUCH RESOURCES. Remind you that T1/T2 openings were pretty much crap since you relegated any capping early on. When i talk about spam, i talk about having same number of MGs than grens. In: COH2 Balance

But maxim spam has been an issue since the beta of this game. Cause you don't play the game. MG42 spam was meta, specially with the 10%supression bulletins. Edit: AND the FHT rush into cutoff. Every. I made the mistake last week of naming other units and possible vet abilities when the topic thread was tracking. While Armored detection is a commander ability, since it works in a similar way i'll thought i should include it here. Infantry detection (221 and 251): for 10 muni it detects infantry for 20s. Kubel does the same thing (detection) for free with instant toggle. On it's current state, why not just remove the munition cost and leave the duration and give it an increased cooldown. Armored detection (conscripts?): for 60 muni it detects armor for 30s. Make it passive, working like Forward Observers, from the USF commander Recon support company. Make it work when in cover or garrisoned. In: COH2 Balance

Add in this the time it arrives and you'll see it's not such a big problem. Related to TWP after nurfing pak 40 ROF what were you expecting at? I'm sure if you ask anyone who use pak 40 to chose between actual TWP and previous ROF, they will chose the previous ROF. Personally while playing ostheer I begun to apreciate schreck pzgrens alot more than pak40. So stug III E and TWP are debatable, so that leaves you with 1 option which is not enough in order to claim that "ostheer has some OP units". -Stug-E: IMO it's more about a commander wise problem + unit grouping than the unit itself. If the commander lacked a Tiger i'm sure it wouldn't be use. Is like having a T70 calling + IS2 commander. -Pak40: you are talking about a neccesary nerf and not about TwP (Stug-G + TA included). In comparison, we had button (rightfully) and Zis (unneccesary) vet1 ability nerfed. --.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- Off: i don't like when people talk about absolutes unless it's 100%. If so, well, I'm so glad I didn't check Starcraft out More like build workers every 30s on each base you have (with some obvious considerations as if you reach optimal number of workers, rush attacks etc), if you play zerg, you have to inject larva on top of that on each of your base and spread your creep tumors through the map. The whole point is that is worthless to consider buildings/resource gathering as something you need to worry about. In: Lobby

I know, I know, you meant Starcraft is much more complex in these issues, but still Last time i played CoH, i didn't have to tap every strategic point every 30s so it could give me resources. And didn't have to get more than 4 buildings (even 0 with USF) in most games. The whole point about the CoH franchise, more so CoH2, is simplyfing all the economy/teching system to give you a more combat oriented game. While the mechanics are basic to understand (old school type of RTS), the game has way higher roof level. On the contrary, COH, has different mechanics than the usual RTS, but once you get the deal with the game, it's easier to play. In: Lobby
