It also depends on game mode (1v1, 2v2, etc.), faction, arranged team vs randoms and finally number of games played (you can artificially increase your rank either on the first 25 games or after having +500 games).
For example: if you take a look at 2v2 AT, you'll notice that the actual amount of different players in the top 200 is not that big. As plenty of people have multiple spots in the ladder due to different partners.

I wasn't clear enough. They don't have a CLEAR visual queue to use during a real game. I check after the test were done but that wouldn't be how you would ever play the game, specially trying to zoom in to see them better. When the PV is changed from faction all models immediately shoot, then you just keep chasing and right clicking the PV and waiting for all AT models to shoot to avoid having different timings in reload/cd time. If you stop too soon, you keep chasing down a bit and try again. It's easier to identify the animation of the rockets, specially shreck. Piat/PTRS you don't really have a visual queue. Note that this was chasing a PV with engine dmg, without MG upgrade nor vet after around 200 range. If you want to have some reference, that's almost the distance between 2 base sectors on 1v1 maps (IIRC it's more or less 250 on avg). At first i thought about a more realistic 60/100 range test but it would had lead to greater variance in performance (even more so than now) and it would be harder to read the results as well. 2 on everything, 3 PTRS, 3 Zook on rangers. I didn't think it was worth testing 2 Elite Zook on Paras. Not sure how you see them doing similarly when they had the most reliable and best performance overall. Maybe you refer for cost and that would be correct. But zooks on RET ha a high variance on dmg, as they often failed to pen and they barely survived all the incoming damage. Not sure if i perfectly aligned them in front of the PV so they get hit by all MGs with 100% uptime. In: COH2 Balance |

Indeed but it still feels clunky to use. After testing several units head on i'm a bit more surprised about their performance, even if it's inferior to others as i expected it to do much worst. I think the issue is that it feels like "invisible" dmg compared to the other AT infantry which have rocket with them. While the amount of cases is small (just 3 with each) i think this give a rough sense of what i saw. -Panther at full HP starts with engine dmg and backpedals till the middle of the map (blue line on the test range). -Infantry starts at 1st line of wires. PV starts at 2nd line of wires and changes faction at the 3rd. -Units chase till the PV touches the line upon which they still fire if they are in range. -They all started at vet 3 and there's patches of light cover Notes: -Each color marks at which point the PV dies. In case of Penals you can see how much HP left the PV had. -This is not perfect micro as sometimes i stopped and have to right click again to move immediately cause i miss time their reload. -For Rangers, they had 3 Zooks. -I had to repeat a RET test cause the first 2 shots of the PV somehow connected on the models. RNGesus. -Surprising the heavy variance i had with the PIAT. Somehow the first test was the best (basically no practice on timing) with almost all shots penning at the beginning. They were not 5 men Sappers cause i used the other version of the mod and didn't had a way to spawn a UKF HQ. In: COH2 Balance |

The Luchs is still considerably worse while chasing, or when firing from the other side of heavy cover. Or against vehicles. It's faster too. And all this for a mere 10 more fuel. What's the timing and resources invested to get one compared to the other? I'm all in to make T70 equal to the P2, if that means that T3 arrives at the same time as other factions light vehicles. Which would make the Su76 actually good at countering other light vehicles in the same fashion as the AEC/Stuart/Puma before you get too much bleed. Edit: added cost for comparison. You need to discount the -10f and -20f respectively. To make it complete i also added the initial mp + starting unit mp value.

... While you might had gotten bored of say SC2/CS GO, the trends are not there that the general public is abandoning those games in an alarming way. And the CSGO steam numbers don't show that at all. SC2 made the right call to give attention to other modes outside automatch. It's still the biggest RTS played by quite a big margin, even if we discount the people who play coop/arcade. The SC2 scene suffered after the first years of game released due to stale meta and poor handling of tournaments from Blizz but it's not like it's a bad formula for people who like it. Specially now during the last years with the resurgences of players from other countries outside Korea. Even if Blizz pull the plug this year, i don't think it's going to go anywhere. Hell, look at what happened with AoE2 during the last 2 years and what the effort of basically a single person did to the scene (Hidden Cup). What the RTS genre needs is a clear differentiation between automatch/base game and more "for the lulz"/coop modes. I'm not sure which is the biggest tournament for PUBG, but this year Katowice CSGO tournament had over a million peak viewer number. The only thing i found about PUBG biggest tournament/series put it barely above 100K peak viewers. The closest thing which can dethrone CS:GO is another pseudo clone, Valorant. In: Lobby |

The more realistic scenario is chasing down vehicles, specially ones with little to non AI. Other AT infantry doesn't fare much or any better in a similar situation. The only scenario which i expect Penals PTRS might be good is combining it with FMR for the speedboost and the threat of an AT satchel. As for how it fares in any real game, AT infantry excels at chasing and microing them between reloads. They are not as good at holding ground. This is totally opposite with PTRS. Unless we talk about 1v1 and/or a margin of 5/10 mins during the first medium tank arriving, those extended duration engagements don't exist in the game without any other unit interference. A role which feels to be already covered by Zis/Su85 performance. In: COH2 Balance |

Also, could Hunt be a +25% instead of 20%? that would make the ability at the USF fire-on-move level, instead of another weird margin. Not sure how the bonus was implemented (multiplicative as most cases or hard coded to be a specific value), cause if it's not the latter, then it's even further less than what you expect.
