If you are playing as well as your opponent and their Zis is barraging your MG, you should be able to use your vehicles to flank the Zis. If you don't have any vehicles, than he spent 320 manpower on a unit that can only barrage, and if you manage to dodge the barrage then you should have infantry superiority and force him off the field. |
Abdul you still haven't explained WHY the barrage is a bad ability to have on the unit. As others have said, it is 60muni, which is a lot, and it is easy to dodge. It has its uses though, and adds an interesting element to soviet play. |

add suppression to s-mines and soviet mines. |
PGs MIGHT be underperforming slightly for cost, but I think people still need to learn how to use them. |
Abdul, lots of units can do more than one thing. It's not a bad thing. 60 munitions is not cheap considering how easy to dodge the barrage is. The Zis makes up for its mediocre anti tank with some optional anti inf, seems fair to me. |

I think all-in strats are good to have, and going for more than 1 or 2 M3s is an all-in. Yeah, they aren't fun to play against in automatch 5 times in a row when they are FOTM, but it adds variety and makes for more interesting bo3 and bo5 series. It's also far from unbeatable. If you don't kill multiple units and set yourself up to win the game in the first 7 minutes with the m3s you are probably going to lose. |

You didn't have to destroy the building. The one guy made nothing but mortars for the first part of the game, you had the entire map capped except the center. If you and your partner had stopped bleeding manpower fighting a mortar war against four enemy mortars being buffed by the HQ, you could have held the entire map except the center and quickly teched. This was an unusual situation in that you actually couldn't quickly kill the buildings with mortars, since churches are really strong and it's very hard to play against mortars from the eastern spawn.
What's real funny is how the guy who made all the mortars was gonna do it regardless of the FHQ, he happened to do an awesome troll strat by accident. |
