I think the M3 would be crap if it was any weaker. M3 spam is far from unbeatable.
I understand that it feels like it is harder to defeat than it is to play, but if M3s couldn't do early game damage there would be no reason to build them. Too many people waste manpower and munitions trying to kill the M3s, when if you just survive into the mid-game vs M3 spam you have a huge advantage. Vs just 1 or 2 M3s its a pretty simple matter to keep your army together and slow push the cutoff. |

It is still a very viable upgrade, but more so in 2v2 than in 1v1. Most people go t2 and then t3, and on urban maps(kholodny, semoisky) it's really useful to get the flammenwerfer. |

Yes, those people who killed themselves are pussies... do you think the people who insulted them were happy when they died? Of course not, they felt like shit, and they already felt like shit or they wouldn't have been assholes.
Let me put it another way: I have never met a happy, well-adjusted person who insulted other people. All any of you are doing by being assholes (on the internet or not) is perpetuating unpleasantness. I think a lot of you also mix up being brutally honest with being a dick for no reason.

If you aren't dominating the early game I really wouldn't go tank depot right away unless you go airborne for AT guns. Too many PE players will blob shreks, and ACs + shreks + panthers will dominate rifle play + Tank depot. Motor pool is your friend. I know a lot of people disagree but I think going tank depot first is a huge gamble and you are relying on outplaying your opponent. Ye eventually you want tank depot but getting 2 at guns and an m8 or two first is a stronger choice imo. |

@ the OP: I agree. I think there is a real disconnect for a lot of people, and they treat their opponents way worse than they would treat anyone in real life. It's lame to be sure, and I posted about it once on gamereplays and got much the same sort of replies you got. The attitude seems to be "too bad lol its the internet deal with it", which is dumb. The internet is becoming more and more a part of our daily lives, and folk need to learn to treat each other like human beings online.
Some people are better than others at not getting offended. I don't have trouble sleeping if someone hates me on the internet, but people have literally killed themselves over mean things said online. I don't see why everyone isn't jumping over themselves to agree with OP... do you all really want to play against a bunch of assholes? I enjoy my coh games much more when I respect my opponent. |
