Thread: Please give the MG42 back some bite and other musings1 Oct 2013, 08:41 AM I just realised from reading this thread, that the biggest difference between players preferring the german side in vCoH to COH2, is that they have become lazy. In vCoH as german you couldn't plop an MG and just consider its cone an area sealed to any enemy infantry. For some absurd reason this is now the expectation from several players, and we see threads like this return time after time. I'd like to remind everyone how we had similar threads even before the MG was nerfed. For that reason I have to conclude that the real problem does not seem to have anything to do with balance, but with the mindset of some players. In: COH2 Gameplay

Also, the /85 has higher precision. So while it does feel a bit of a half of a call-in tank, they do have their use. The Price is debatable, though. In: COH2 Gameplay

Hover the mouse around untill it displays the welding symbol. Not every part of the gun can be clicked for repair. I find that it's usually the rear part (where the crew stands). Thread: Commander abilities fail to work constantly!30 Sep 2013, 12:17 PM Yes, this happens with all kinds of area impacting off-map weapons. And it's not only Associated with the recon-run. As allready indicated by others, the problem is that entire area revealed is not eligible for the use of the weapon. The eligible zone is narrower than the visible zone, if you get my point? So try not to launch your weapon near the edges of the revealed area, but well within the visible area. Btw.: I don't think you get robbed of the ammo anyway if the plane doesn't actually strike. Thread: Matching times in COH228 Sep 2013, 09:13 AM 3 minutes isn't a big deal, but I know it feels annoying. I often have to wait 10 minutes. So I've made it a habit to go make a cup of tea, do the laundry and what not. Since there's nothing you can do - short of fixing an internet connection that may be too slow - getting used to it, is probably my best advice. In: Lobby
