Relics aversion to P3 or generally early war tanks is matched only by their fetish-like lust for P5 and P6.
only a small fraction of forum boys want early war stuff.
the majority wants the famous tanks.
The fault isnt at Relic |
I don't really see anyone in these forums actively ignoring the term Pre-Alpha, maybe your talking about their official forums. In which I will agree, the official forums are lacking some sanity right now.
i do |
I'm sorry Relic
for having to cope with all the idiots who spout out nonsense in the forums and discord
especially the ones who don't know the Term Pre-Alpha
i'm really sorry.
Please keep on. You're doing a great job |
And forced the player to make a strategic decision to risk the cap or defend the position, something COH2 players never understood because they could just a-move their MG's across the map and cap and lock down sectors all at the same time. All part of the "COH2 is the noob friendly version of COH1" mantra.
i remember the cap hopping from rifle men because of the 1,5x cap speed
and the cap reset from the jeep and the krad
lol what a BS.

It's a bad feature imo.
Yes you have to invest less micro, but being able to select a specific piece of wall to jump over can be crucial when it comes to finding the correct walking paths in top tier gameplay to avoid mines or MG arcs etc.
Also the units constantly auto-vault during combat even if you dont want them to, because you rather want them to shoot their rifles.
I am for removing autovault, at least from multiplayer
remove it! it feels so nice to do it manually |
CoH always looked and felt a bit better than CoH2 in how it played, at least to me that is.
There's something about that art style and more gritty feeling from the 2000s that really did it.
I mean the game still has around 2000 people playing it daily and it's like, 15 years old now. Not a lot of games can boast with that at that age which I think is proof in itself.
Of course many people are playing mods as well out of those 2k so again, modding and the community behind it are big parts of CoH.
Because its 15 years old and still wipes its ass with Dota, LoL, Starcraft. It bugs me like hell that these games with Robot animations and child birthday effects are so much more popular than coh |
Thanks, no. Two friends of mine who want to play 3 versus 3 don't agree with you. Considering that 3 versus 3 and 4 versus 4 are the most popular modes. The conclusion is exactly the opposite, the game should not only be centered around 1 versus 1.
read my post: 3v3 or 4v4 with a balanced random doesnt make a big difference.
ALso btw all you do in this forum is whining and complaining |
Relic should consider to just scrap the 3v3 Mode.
-Its easier to balance out maps
-you have a larger player pool etc. 3 friends play with 1 random which works absolutely fine in other games (counter strike, Rainbow six, etc.).with the larger player pool its much easier to balance out the player search
-you have more time to polish existing maps
-the specs for a new map are easier--> more maps

Well first let me just state that I understand it is Alpha and pre-release. With that said I also played the COH 2 Alpha and Beta before COH 2 launched and while COH 2 had alot of technical problems the gameplay was fun, faster paced and offered many Quality of Life fixes over the original.
So I am comparing COH 2 Alpha with COH 3 Alpha.
COH 3 Issues
-UI
The UI is mobile friendly/inspired which clearly shows with how bad the UI is. Everything about it is a downgrade over any previous Relic game. Even Dawn of War 3 had a great UI. Normally I am not one to complain about such a thing but it is really that bad. It provides NO Information at all and provides even less information than before.
COH 2 UI - Simple, Effective, Easy to see and Access
COH 3 UI - Literally shows me nothing of value though graphics are nice
Why is the Mini Map Crooked and not flush in the corner? Also they removed the Tactical Map, a Sequel should add/improve upon current features not remove them. Also you cannot Shift Que to capture territory via the mini map like you can in COH 2. One of the best COH 2 quality of life features over COH 1 is gone.
-Camera
The Camera is super zoomed in and off angle. It is Company of Heroes not X-COM 2, I dont need to be be that close in.
COH 3 = 1 Step Forward 2 Steps Backward
Watch AE s youtube vid. he s talking about the UI and it's good. he explains why |
Honestly i would just scrap the 3v3 Mode.
