Sovs crushed. Mistake in seeds, complete stomp?
I was a bit dissapointed.
Btw Ami, great production. It's really neat, clean and professional. |
If it cost more munitions you would weaken the early game a bit but still make it just possible to get more of them later if you opt for that. |
If you're that caught up on it, you're not appreciating the game itself. It's easy to flame and act below your true capacity, hard to keep up a solid frame of being appreciative. |
I have to say certainly an interesting take on revamping the tiers and gren unit placement. The only concern I have is that it would be a t0 infantry spam fest however if the game were to follow a natural progression it would certainly allow for penals to get some use because they are excellent flanking units.
I would love to be able to modify and play some games out with this adjusted algorithm and see how it plays out because it would certainly give some interesting dynamics. I personally like to see out of the box solutions like this because while it does get rid of a bit of the asymmetry I don't think the factions would be similar enough to take away from the feel of the game.
You mean there would actually be a strat for the unupgraded riflemen of each faction to fight each other, using cover etc? Sounds very good to me. The early game phase in this game is too short as it is. |
Ya that would be op. Ppsh cons combined with molotoves are hard enough to deal with even for lmg grens later in the game when they come out now, unupgraded grens would shredded. Sure your trying to balance that by making the mg good again but that just forces Germans to build at least one mg every game, which will make the meta kinda boring.
buying 1 mg makes the meta boring? |
What if you could build 85 out of t3 as a single unit when you had the cps for a callin of 2 ? |
sounds like boss play |
I think having to choose a doc for ppsh limits conscripts too much.
Mg's on both sides need a supression buff.
Mg42 should be supressing more than maxim, but still supress cons in 1 burst out of cover, maxim should require more than one burst. I'm not 100% sure what the stats are now, but they feel worse than what I descibe here for sure.
flame ht could stand to lose some damage tbh, with a corresponding munitions reductions to the upgrade cost, so the unit can still be present but not be as impactful. not sure if this is the way to go, but at vet 2 its too good. |
What is coh2's take on this? I'm not going to elaborate my view much as I find the subject very straight forward, but:
1) don't you think there's a huge gap between how much more survivable a vet 1 german tank is and a soviet vet 1 tank because of blitzkrieg ability
2) isn't blitzkrieg more of a vet 3 ability, than a vet 1 abiliy, at its current power level
3) doesn't blitzkrieg in general, turn out to be very unrealistic and stupid-fixing, working w / engine damage, allowing retreats out of very bad movements etc
You and me, with perhaps differences about details, maybe we can see. But does Relic see it this way? If not, why? |
and both tanks are a joke vs the elephant (which all infantry based AT also are a joke against, barring engine disable) ((which is good but not enough)) |
