USF Riflemen Garand long range DPS is 1.46
USF Riflemen BAR long range DPS is 2.95
THAT'S 203% THE DMG!!!!!!
If you compare that with the G43
Grenadier Kar-98k long range DPS is 1.97
Grenadier G43 long range DPS is 1.98
That's only a 0.5% improvement.
So USF gets a 103% improvement for 60 munition, while Ostheer gets two 0.5% improvements for 45 munition? BALANCE PLEASE! Even more WTF, USF CAN GET THAT IMPROVEMENT TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you compare such weapons there are many more factors than just the DPS at one single range. LMG is a long range improvement that decreases the closer you get. At 0 range it has close to no improvement. Additionally you cannot use it on the move.
The BAR on the other hand is another kind of upgrade. It's a straight upgrade. It's profile is extremely similar to the Garand one, so there is not one range where it really is a "giant" upgrade, but it just adds like ~4 DPS at every range. Additionally the BAR offers better moving modifiers than the Garand.
So in total I think the BAR is a bit too weak right now, but not much. ~5% or such maybe, if you want to buff it more DPS wise you probably should lower the utility buffs (Firing on the move stuff).
Edit: Probably best would be best to decrease long range damage a bit more, but increase mid damage to emphasize it's a mobility short/mid range upgrade. This would also help to differentiate it more from the M1919A6

They are.. weird.. those mines. To this day I am not sure if they are working, as I had things happening with them that were not represented in the files. They do very little damage (20 I think). Their main strength is the ability to apply criticals (engine damage, crew shock, ... such stuff). This depends on how many mines you hit in the recent time. Each time adds a debuff (and refreshes previous ones) for a few seconds (8 IIRC). Depending on the amount of debuffs it has it can apply a critical. The more debuffs the higher the chance and the more severe the critical. Besides that the criticals are also divided in groups, so light vehicles get crits easier than heavy tanks. Guys, I was trolling for once It's a bug and it's been reported a few times. We provided Relic with several replays on it already, but it seems it's by far not as easy to fix as it seems. There seem to be quite a few bugs with retreats and support weapons in general that were magnified by WFA and some subsequent patches. Weapons getting stuck (feels like it happens less nowadays though, I know that was a huge issue at WFA release) and retreats canceling or units getting stuck on retreat. It's super annoying though. The main problems are scapegoating and a general sense of negativity. I'm not saying I'm flawless (just kidding, I am \o/), a certain Relic Dev tends to call me Negative Nancy and I guess that's not without a reason. It's all in good humor though (I hope ). People tend to blame rather certain individuals than the company as a whole, even if those persons are just acting on orders. Peter and Braden are the primary persons getting blamed for balance issues, Brad also for bad manner. Noun takes all the FlaK for community interaction. All of them regularly get criticised for their secretism. Those people are humans and they like the game and are dedicated. I've played countless games with Devs after hours and discussed balance as well as general CoH issues with them. In their free time. In the Western Fronts Alpha they completely overhauled the Oberkommando faction 2 (or 3 times) due to the player input. We had daily meetings on Mumble discussing changes and usually they got implemented pretty fast. They take the criticisms and suggestions seriously and listen to them. A lot of the changes that were done to certain units stem from players showing the problems to them. Sometimes I wish they'd listen better and you wouldn't have to shove it in their face, but at least if you do, they react. Before now anyone again complains about the 'special treatment' - just look at the forums. There is so much noise, it wouldn't work. A lot of the Alpha people read the forums and link to 'good' threads in the public forums or bring suggestions to Relic directly. My biggest problems with Relic are usually the priorities and some general structure issues. I don't think I can talk about those things publicly. They just seem to have too many projects running at once and lack the manpower to handle everything the community wants from them. Still, even though Relic is sometimes slow to improve or adapt, it seems to improve a bit. If I compare the community interaction now to the one at launch? Forum posts, Twitch streams. Better patch presentations. An Alpha to let parts of the community present feedback more directly and test improvements. Besides that also changes in CoH2 itself - Less commander DLC releases and a War Spoils system (which is by far not perfect, but a lot of people asked for free ways to get commanders). A map rotation to showcase community maps, custom games. Obs mode in development. Of course also something a lot of people forget and which was a major improvement - battle servers. As I mentioned earlier, that's a lot of different projects and most of them (to me) feel half-finished. It's like they want to add all those cool things, but do not have the time or manpower to really polish them :/ In: COH2 Gameplay |

It's the symbiotic relationship between the support weapons and it's crew. Sometimes when a person dies the maxim goes into shock, which means it's wheels block. It also happens to other support weapons, but as the ATGs are bigger and more mature, they are harder to shock. The MG42 and 34 are actually the most easy ones to scare, yet you hardly ever notice since they have no wheels. They sometimes position in the wrong direction though, simply because that forces the crewmember to pick them up again - they just want to be held. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Burst duration is the time in which they shoot. Rifles shoot a single shot (take one tick .125 seconds) where burst weapons shoot several shots in a variable amount of time. The amount of time is the burst duration and the amount of shots gets set by the rate of fire. The latter is always per second. Assuming .4 second burst duration and 15 rate of fire .4 * 15 = 6 shot bursts over .4 seconds and with 250% burst duration .4 * 2.5 * 15 = 15 shot bursts over 1 second This increases the damage since the time spend firing compared to the time on cooldown/reload/aiming etc improves, yet it's definitely no "250% DPS improvement". PGren (as they use the same weapon) DPS short / mid / far 13.219 / 6.795 / 1.206 And with 250% burst time (not the higher accuracy or anything else) 18.430 / 11.692 / 2.765 In: COH2 Gameplay |

So, last patch they were too weak (according to a lot of people in the community). Nothing (major) changed about them and to be honest, nothing major changed about the stuff they are facing. Definitely nothing that would make them go from "Utterly useless" to "Wtf godlike". Anyways, just wait for something: Go face Stormtroopers with the StG44 upgrade. Now something that warrants QQ in my opinion - Stormtroopers. Why? 270 MP value on the squad, .75 received accuracy modifier (PGrens have .8). Same weapons as PGrens, same Nade, but also an ability pretty much like the Thompson Paras have. Oh, did I already mention they are 270 MP? Yes, that's a whooping 70 MP less for a better squad if you pay the one time 50 MP fee to buy them and 100 (I think) munition to upgrade them. Think long term, bra. This also nicely indicates why I dislike upgrades so much and I pretty much ALWAYS argue against trying to balance the game by gaming X (be it Conscripts or Penals or Volks or whatever) a weapon upgrade. That just means this squad (in most games) gets spammed and the upgrade becomes somewhat mandatory. In: COH2 Balance |

Why all the hate for those who are dissatisfied?? I think there are problems with the game. Bugs, performance and balance. Spamming the forums and insulting developers is the wrong way to handle it. You can either be constructive, trying to deepen the connection between community and developers, or you can be toxic and try to disrupt it. Do you think a developer wants to be flamed and insulted? Do you think that will make him magically work harder? All it will do is make him dissatisfied and ignore the forums more and more. Constructive criticism is good, spam and insults aren't. This whole "Patch finally or I'll leave this game" is nothing but a cry for attention. It's been done so often, usually by a ton of people who try to find the issues with why they lost with the game, and not their self. It's easier to complain than to analyze your replay for mistakes. Being dissatisfied with the game does not magically give the developers a way to solve that. If you provide feedback they have something to fix, to make you happy. If you insult them because you are unhappy you do not say why exactly and they can't really fix anything. Now in regards to 3v3 or 4v4 - I even said in my previous posts there are problems. I tried Relic several times to improve them. I also know how much stuff they have to do. 4v4 wants attention, 1v1 wants Obs mode and tournaments for competitive e-Sports. 2v2 wants fixes to synergy between factions. 3v3 wants new maps as usually there are 2v2 or 4v4 maps. And all want improved performance / new stuff / better balance / more community interaction. Never to forget the vs AI / SP players who tend to want new bigger / better units that feel awesome. YOU WERE RANK1 4v4? WOW. *bows*. But now honestly. It's not hard. It usually goes 9 wins => unranked. 10th win => top 5. Why? ELO decay. Unless you play a game with that exact configuration every X days, your 4v4 AT ELO will decay. That's why that ladder is so incredibly useless.
=> Slight at 1v1 players for not having friends.
Besides that I never told you to L2P. I said it's a skill issue, a L2P issue. Allies can win 4v4 just like Axis can, but you need pass a certain skill level to be able to micro the Allied tanks and units. For Axis you tend to need even less micro than in 1v1, since the maps are smaller => easier to lock down with support weapons. As 4v4 is usually played by more casual players the differences between Axis and Allies get magnified.
Dude, you are the one insulting developers, trying to gather people behind your banner to rage at Relic and attacking people if they disagree with you. If you actually wanted to IMPROVE the game like you stated, you should always test playing all factions / sides. You need to know what's OP and exactly why and you only get that by using it and having it used against you. With that you could've gone to the forums and made a thread with proof, as in replays and such. Nope, you raged. Not just now, but also in the past.
