NDA should have been lifted ages ago and there should have been an open beta. Our hands are literally tied here at COH2.ORG. We can't even discuss the alpha in our staff forums, and thus cannot create any content in advance of the release.

I go for the IS-2 tbh, one mistake and its too easy for a T-34-85 to be destroyed, meaning you've lost half your investment and rendering the other T-34-85 pretty useless. Meanwhile an IS can be taken down to half health and then can be put back and repaired...

T34/85s and Shermanns are not OP. Let's get real. If you know what are you doing and you play well, a supported Tiger can dispose of them with ease. That won't be the case anymore if, due to several arguably objective people on this forum who think the Tiger is OP, it will be nerfed. '85s are good, but thin enough to be balanced.
Shermanns are very thin. They don't stand a chance but in numbers, they can be killed quickly unless very good microed. Hell, even a schreck pzgrens unit (which is a quite shitty unit) can dispose of one shermann if they are in green cover and don't have bad luck.

Sorry guys but you cannot compare a panther to any call-in because no matter what doctrine you pick, you can still get a panther. You can have an elefant and a panther, the same cannot be said for the ISU and the T-34-85.

Agreed... I was thinking that it might be good marketing to let everything die down after the announcement and then when the closed alpha/beta (whatever) begins ramp it up to full hype mode... instead it seems to have just... died... again...

Despite my breaking of NDAs (on the topic of mismanagement of balance, not leaking anything, just to make that clear...), banning from official forums etc, I still care about CoH2 (as one might care about an elephant edging along an ever smaller path on a cliff...) and it really irritates me how it appears that we can expect a pile of imbalances and seeming cash grabs before we have anywhere near a balanced product, of course then, the next cash grab is coming and the process repeats... I'm holding off on my pre-order, if its imbalanced (or appears to be in my case from watching replays and forum viewing) then forget it, I'm not buying it until its on sale for bargain prices... Just my opinion, not saying "everybody boycott it" I HOPE it will be a finished and balanced product, but for now, I'm not buying it (figuratively and literally...).
