Honestly, the Katyusha was stillborn. The weird volley fire it has caused the abortion. |
Germans get panzerfausts off the bat, they're very useful as flamers don't have that much more range than them. The .50 cal on the M3 is annoying but not much else. MG-42s on either infantry units are effective, a panzerfaust followed by sustained fire will destroyed the M3 and cause massive casualties to those inside. armour piercing rounds on vet 1 MG-42 will wreck an m3. In the longer term use a 221 yourself, the 20mm cannon upgrade will wreck any remaining scoutcars.
The Soviet Sniper, whilst difficult to countersnipe, cannot countersnipe you if you snipe from cover. Snipe in cover and you'll recloak before he can get a shot. Use this to your advantage. DO NOT run the sniper around in an open field where he will be shot. The German sniper camos absurdly quickly, so use that to your advantage.
Don't think that fireup makes Cons unsuppressable. Suppression stop them dead, the MG-42 is your friend, but keep grens near it. If Cons ura up to it to throw a molotov, move or retreat the MG and in that time the grens will have damaged the cons enough for them to be defeated by your grens.

I've been enjoying a few games of Germans recently, Shocks aren't problem is you have a clue what you're doing. |
^^
Challenge accepted... Anyway, this lunge mine thing should do the trick if nothing else... |
And the V1 was never used for tactical purposes in VCoH... |
What you could do for breakdowns is have a timer that flashes over your tank as it move, once over a certain threshold the tank receives an engine overheat which lasts for 5-10 seconds maybe...? |
If we're nerfing the Soviet mine, it needs to do the same amount of damage to armour as it does currently... |
Bugger the Japanese tanks, I'd rather see the Japanese place all their eggs in lung mines and AT grenades (with lots of extra benefits for balancing, such as having a very good chance of immobilising the enemy tank) |
I'd say that one of the japanese strengths should be their engineer unit is powerful... So that they can stay on the field longer and build mines, tunnels etc. So the Engies should be effective in combat, not as good as regular infantry, but more effective then your opening pios/combat engies. |
Hey's a few arguments to pollute your forum world then. German MG has superior suppression based on my experience (I regularly watch German units survive 2 bursts of a Maxim unsuppressed at max range, it takes one burst and a bit for the MG42 to suppress) , and a vastly superior arc. It's damage I can't comment on but you don't buy MGs for damage. As above, the only inferior aspect to it is the setup.
Do not lecture me Jaigen on nebulous arguments! |
