Thread: American tank repairs8 Jul 2014, 19:41 PM 1. if your ally is stealing tanks, hes a dick and you cant really stop that. 2. if the enemy is stealing tanks, make sure you hop out in a safer place. 3. i dont think they can leave the tank icon, because the tank is no longer a unit at that point. if you want a simple workaround, you press t to exit the tank, right click the tank right after (your cursor will automatically be a repair symbol for a short time), then once they start to repair, shift click on the tank. that will queue them to hop in once the tank is done repairing. Thread: Sandbag Cover8 Jul 2014, 19:08 PM against small arms? i dont think so. from what i understand, if a hit is rolled for small arms fire, it will always deal damage, regardless of what the actual tracer shows. you can see this when firing up hill sometimes. bullets will go into the ground, yet squads on the top of the hill will still take damage. missed shot tracers are purely visual and have no collision, so you wont be protecting against those either. and i dont think this will register as 2 types of cover for garrisoned units either. these sandbags may help take a hit or 2 from ballistic or explosive weapons though, since they mainly rely on collision to determine hits. Thread: Umm US Jeep?8 Jul 2014, 05:54 AM its acceleration is actually slightly higher (not sure what numbers you guys are looking at). its to speed is barely lower. as i said before, its front armor is insignificantly less. but its damage and pen is much higher than that of the m3. it has 40 range. its high rear armor means getting behind it is barely rewarding, so people can just drive it into okw squads without fear. not to mention theres an exploit for it in team games with soviets. not going to explain that further. Thread: Walking Stuka6 Jul 2014, 14:48 PM Jump back to quoted post6 Jul 2014, 12:46 PMKatitof I play allies, I've faced stuka, I still think its fine and its pwerfer and Katiusha that are complete and utter shit, not stuka being op. just dont fire them from max range, just like mortars. its riskier, but they all wipe squads really easily. i typically get 7-10 kills every barrage with any of these units. to people blaming the maps, it doesnt matter what map its on, people play like idiots now. sure, some of the new maps are full of choke points, but it could be moscow, rhzev, oka, steppes, or any of the old maps. its just pure blobs.
