As i said before vonivan while a brilliant player knew that the m3 spam was coming. this already gives him an advantage. second part his strategy while solid is completely map dependent. semois is the ideal place for this strat as it offers plenty of green cover and the resource points are close to one another. m3 spam is either a complete nuisance or completely broken. depending on the map. maybe he is an idiot??? lol well yes it is map dependent, on a map like langers, especially positioned north its very hard to deal with them. He on the other hand never sent a unit to harass your engineer squad which would have reduced your resources income. Thread: M3s unbeatable3 Jun 2014, 10:53 AM I am honestly a late comer to this topic and did not read every single post, but today I played a game where my opponent gave me the perfect opportunity to use the m3 against him; he went mg spam. I know this is reverse of what is being discussed here, but for those who want to see why it works so well, it's because sometimes people play into its advantage. Thread: m3 vs mg42 spam 3 Jun 2014, 10:46 AM There has been an increase in mg spam recently and langers is the perfect map for it. I did not know my opponent was going to spam 3 mgs but went with the scout car because this map is hard for infantry to move around because of the heavy snow. To my pleasant surprise my opponent went mg spam and was completely paralyzed because of this. 2 eng, 2 m3, 3 cons, 2 guards, and 1 mortar did the trick. I think people struggling with mg spam should check this one out. PS. note how bad the heavy mortar has become after the patch In: Replays
