Luchs and T70 seem to be in pretty good positions. Luchs is probably a little better at killing infantry, but T70 can cap and recon which increases its utility quite a lot. I think the stuart is supposed to have some light AT utility with its abilities, but they never seem to work like they're supposed to, and it costs too much fuel to ever be worth it long term. |

Could work for soviet Sherman, but it would probably be weird for USF since vet is tied to crews. So when you would leave the Sherman it would revert back to its normal, then back again when you hopped back in. Not a big issue, but it would probably look pretty weird |

Didn't they accidentally release a website with something like this a couple months ago? I remember it was like a map of europe, with each region acting as a different game mode. Then they showed the win percentages for axis vs allies, and if you played enough matches in one of the game modes in the time period you were entered into the effort, and if your side won then you would receive some special bulletins and shit.
I assume this is just a new implementation of that, just with faceplates instead of bulletins. |
I remember in beta they had a triple tiered smoke release that just shot smoke everywhere. That shit was absurd.
But yeah, I think moving smoke to like vet 1 instead of having it out of the box would make Soviet T3 more viable vs OKW. As it stands now, I think the smoke is too much of a get out of jail card for Pumas against AT guns. Especially when you consider that it can take 3 shots from ZiS / 57 mm and having a speed faster than the T70. Idk though, sounds good on paper, but might make the puma too vulnerable. Who knows. Could be cool to try in a mod or something. |
I think tech costs are fine for T1-T2, but the teching cost for T3-T4 seems a little high against USF especially considering the efficiency of call-ins vs USF. No reason to spend all of that fuel to tech up when saving for a Tiger, or calling in a command tank/STUG E is usually just as efficient.
More of a problem with call-ins, but a decrease in tech costs would make T3-T4 a more attractive option. |

Iirc smoke will block line of sight, and any unit firing into or through the smoke will incur an accuracy penalty. This is so even if there's a 2nd spotter unit in the smoke it will still serve its purpose of keeping your units protected and not suppressed. |
