Thread: How do i?11 Aug 2015, 10:00 AM Don´t play Germans this patch. On equal skill, the Soviet player is going to win. There´s simply no cost effective counter to the Quad in combination with Zis guns and Snipers. Easy to field that combination in 2v2. In: COH2 Balance

Realistically a T-34/85 or Easy Eight would be able to consistently penetrate it frontally at closer ranges. Not that the Tiger wasn't good, it aged fairly well for a Heavy Tank from 1942, just not as well as CoH2's portrayal. It still had a significant engagement range advantage. Yet it gets outranged by SU-85s in this game. So that evens out. Also if we go down that lane, the T-34 shouldn´t be able to hit reliably and have poor vision range etc. The T-34 lacked in any regard but numbers and mobility. Also: Why does the 1941 KV deflect Panther shells? This Russian tank is totally exaggerated. The Tiger has a shit survivability in this game, since they took any survivability buff from its vet. So: NO, German tanks don´t perform to their actual value. In: Lobby

The Sherman Firefly was much less armored than a Panther, while having pretty much the same armor piercing performance. Don´t want to see Panthers losing 1v1. The only thing the Panther can currently do is anti tank - if Germans can´t even fight other tanks with their armor (and the comments hinted on that), it´s gonna be useless. In: Lobby

Exactly what I feared. Special snowflake bonus for the 17 pounder. Meanwhile the Panther 75mm gun fades in comparison (just look at the reload). I mean after all a heavier tank with a good gun should be able to manage a lighter tank with a good gun. In: Lobby

What´s the irony in this? There´s a decreased reload time bulletin for the ISU-152 - while the real ISU could fire once every minute. There´s SU-85s firing twice as fast as a Panther, with more range... A Panzer IV armor bulletin should be the least of your concerns if we are considering that aspect. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Relic wants your vote about blizzards30 Jul 2015, 14:57 PM Reminds me of that one time I made an awesome comeback with 20 vps left. Held myself against the other player until I had total unit superiority. When I finally had pushed his whole army off the map, a blizzard came and slowed my whole army (low health units dying). I capped seconds too late and lost the game. Would not have happened on a summer map. Just random bullshit. Get rid of blizzards. In: Lobby
