Thread: OKW Vet 5 justified (December Update)?1 Dec 2015, 18:43 PM The vet 5 doesn't bother me as much as the quality of armor they get with such little teaching. Even if you get rid of vet 5 it doesn't make up for the fact they are going to be rolling around with Panthers and super p4s 12 minutes in. There is no way for allies to keep up with that especially with schreks making life difficult for most allied mediums. They need to bring back OKWs resource starved late game by upping the cost of their late armor. In: COH2 Balance

I would not need a Panther at that mark, more likely PIV. The problem isn't the 12 min panther. It's the one that comes shortly after that, then the one after that. Panthers are notoriously hard to finish off, and it becomes extremely easy to reach critical mass with these changes. Team games are going to be filled with panther hordes, that now come much sooner then they did before. In: COH2 Gameplay

The reason you should wait to choose a commander is so you can choose one that will help counter whatever your opponent is doing, but there are plenty of commanders that provide early units and bonuses so choosing one early can be good too. It's a tactical choice that is up to you and there is no "wrong" time to choose a commander. In: COH2 Gameplay

Free access to grenades and upgrades 3. Effects of field HQs 4. Scavenge 5. Better armor then any other faction This isn't a problem with OKW getting a bonus like the other factions. I don't think anyone would argue it would be fair if UKF was able to build comets or churchills without upgrading hammer or anvil. So why is it fair for OKW to get such good armor at such a low tech cost. In: COH2 Balance
